Very poor punch by Joe. Ball is obviously very wet and slippy so a ghost of an excuse. Fernando tried his best to keep it out. Lucky for West Brom.

Don't think we can complain about the goal we conceded given the conditions. Even the West Brom players didn't know what was happening there, it just bounced in.
Extremely happy with the result, hope we can keep up the momentum!

It's a great effort, the way the team has responded in adversity, & should, I say SHOULD, shut the fucking faces of those wankers who suggest City are a one man team.
Another great effort from Milner opening up all kinds of spaces for Silva etc.
Glad it wasn't close, due to the weather & the fact that Clattenburg got pretty much every decision wrong, bar the pen.

Saw him disrobe on the NBC coverage but they didn't show him throw it but it was obvs that's what he was doing. Made me happy as well.
Cheers

Which newspaper will write that as Milner saying goodbye, because he's off to Liverpool ?
I'm going for the Daily Mirror.

frustrating to know hart's mistake cost us cutting into goal difference.
clearly if the weather had not turned for the worse we would have surely scored more.
good news is team is performing well in attack.
navas a bit enigmatic though. imagine we had sterling or reus?
defence needs sorting though. we miss kompany's leadership.

Pellegrini deserves a lot of credit for getting the players to play so well so quickly with a different system. People have argued he's one dimensional but he's proved them wrong. Now we can play one up top or 4-6-0. Good to see.

the bloke from the bbc at the game during the match said the substitutions of silva and yaya were due to injury and that this would further stretch thee squad. Was he beibg sensationalist or looking for a story? I didnt get a river for this but I see nobody here who watched it seems to think there were injuries.

No mention of injuries on Radio Manchester, must have been different BBC.
A little disappointed at their goal, but three points and a game nearer getting the forwards and Vincent back will do for me.

I can't be sure but it looked like ordinary substitutions. Pellegrini's post match press conference may reveal more. Nothing about injuries in the Sky interview but he wasn't asked the question. Wishful thinking from the BBC I think/hope.
