He was at a much lower level and wouldn't have got the games to develop. He needed to play in lower leagues for 2 or 3 years otherwise he'd not be decent like he is now...so sadly things arent as simple as that!

We've got better coming through the ranks anyway so don't worry.

Not good enough up to now. Burnley haven't really threatened and I don't think Hart has had to make a save yet, but our midfield is lacking any urgency and it looks like we are playing a man short somehow. A good bollocking is the order of the day at half time. We need much more effort second half or this will transfer over into Wednesdays game where we will get spanked if we play like this again.
