Would love to hear from a player, who have tons to say when it is all going great, this manager has fuck all to lose by naming and shaming the players, for me lets not dilute it the players are taking the piss out of us all. Sergio was not up for it, I could see that after a min. World class players do not all perform that badly together , answer the players are a clique of wankers.

If rags and Scouse win this weekend we are 1 more defeat from dropping out of top 4. Not good enough, played well twice since Christmas against Stoke and Newcastle that I can remember. Arsenal 1 point behind now. Shocking performance struggle to find one player who can say performed to the required level but I'll give Dzeko a special mention, gave ball away lazy poor play out on touch line for them to break out then when Boyd strikes ball he is nearest man and he turns his back and cowards away. Nasri got slated for doing same v rags 2 years back. Fair enough he may not and probably won't get a block but put in some fucking effort and show some balls.
I'm sure kompany will be said should have cleared ball better from header but why does hart need 4 in a wall from there leaving us short for the knock down.
Title well and truly gone, confidence looks to be on the floor, going to be a vital next few games now to try keep in top 4.

It's all very well exempting the manager from criticism but Pellegrini is paid squillions to get the players to play for him. They're not. Burnley deserve credit for their immense effort off the ball. They doubled up on both flanks and stopped our full backs doing much going forward. They gave us precious little even if they got lucky with the penalty. One or two signs of disharmony in our camp. Aguero looked pissed off with the service he got.

I don't see why it mattered anymore in that game. We had the ball most of the time.

now I don't know what is going wrong but when the players are putting a shit performance in week in week out it is there fault, stray passes, moving ball or touching ball around halfway line is shit, even when we was down 1-0 at 75 mins we just tried to walk with the ball or pass it backwards, people and I include myself in this, when the scum was losing at west ham and they was lumping the ball into the pen area I was calling them tossers, but us no in last 5 mins we was trying to play the ball into areas like the wings and no cross was coming in, ffs YOU GET THE BALL IN TO THE PEN AREA AND HOPE WE SCORE OR GET A PEN.

Who is exempting the manager from criticism ?

But what can he do on the day to change that & why can't people like Silva & Toure control a football all of a sudden ?

He's apparently already said it was a normal performance, according to someone on here, I didn't see the post match interview myself though.
That was far form normal to anyone who watched last season and this.

It would be interesting if he dropped most of them & put the kids in, but neither is likely to solve the problem unfortunately.

We played exactly like that, & were just as half arsed, v Leicester. I was worried by it at the time & said so.

Ez normal.

I think that is the right thing to do, i am pretty sure the speech is totally different in the dressing room. Our players are primadonnas, if you launch some heavy words in public about them, you are gone in the next second.

If you don't believe he could do anything which would make a difference, them he should be sacked - he's the manager and if he can no longer manage then he's just an oxygen thief.

That said, a number of these players need kicking out of the club. When they sacked Mancini they should have got rid of the ringleaders at the same time. We need to make sure we don't make the same mistake this time.

WTF? Normally? What normally? - bad/shite - is it normal for city to play 'bad' Is it acceptable to play like this? No it ain't kiddo at least he accepts there is a problem! Didn't see the interview the 1st time. I feel really angry - no passion from players or manager - if that was me I would be blood red with anger and sod the interview - guess that's why I ain't a manager. Mind you wasn't Manchini like that?

Not if I don't think anyone else could have done any better today; which is my opinion.

Whether he is the right bloke to continue next season, I have no idea, but imo no manager would have any drastic effect on those players when they are in that mood.

I think it's their fault, & I've pretty much seen my arse with them.

surely, but so are our players with long term contracts and all too frequent poor, uninspiring performances.
