#together ? ... err , yer Ok.

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Disgrace how the players if today act. You'd never have seen someone like Summerbee fraternising with the rags. And I'm glad to see no one here has anything to do with any rags and definitely doesn't have any as friends.

The only baffling bit in all this is why anyone would want to take a photo of themselves having their tea and then post it on the web. But that's more a statement on modern society than on a typically thick footballer.

I think some of the venom that will be thrown her way will be way ott, but internal branding is a massive issue for the club.

I remember working for 02, or BT Cellnet as it was at the time. There was a time when it was seriously being discussed about blocking the signal of all other mobile networks inside the call centres, to force staff to become customers and 'live the brand'. As draconian as it sounded, internal brand management is a massive issue for organisations like city, where each person is a marketer for the club they represent - the players certainly are.

Whilst the ladies team is small time compared to the men's game, behaviour like this IS symptomatic of a laissez faire attitude within the club that people aren't scared of the consequences of pulling a stunt like this. Regardless whether these actions are stupidity or otherwise, a clear policy on how each individual represents the brand would have made this silly lady think twice.

It all just goes to show that despite the veneer of professionalism, the CFG have a long long way to go before professional pride is instilled across the organization.

It would, but there will always be incidents like this as some people need to think three, four or five times before they come to the right decision cos they're that stupid. It will happen again at some point. You can't totally eradicate people's stupidity no matter how hard you try... doesn't mean they shouldn't try obviously, but let's not pretend that the club is falling apart and this is an indicator cos that's a little drastic. People will be stupid.

How do you know no one on here has any rag friends? I've got loads of rag mates and some of my family are rags. That's life. Toni Duggan could even be a rag, doesn't matter. The point is she shouldn't be posting shit like that ever, but especially just after they beat us

Makes you wonder why you would want to support these players. No loyalty whatsoever, but then again, that seems to be the club ethos through and through at the moment.

Disgraceful behaviour and after what Sis has said, it does make you wonder.

We did player interviews last year when I was there and you were asked about your favourite player. One of the girls said Wayne Rooney. Tape stopped and advised that you can't say Wayne Rooney.

I thought it was a bit sad really as she is a red and he is her all time favourte player but players at the club are well aware of the clubs feeling towards the rags so know to keep it stum about there only personal feelings towards them.

TD isn't a rag and just loves a good old selfie with a celeb. She's young and I guess this younger generation like to plaster their lives all over the Internet. Guessing she will think twice before posting anything else in the future. Wondering if the Rio 5 baseball cap is still doing the rounds?

Another mess, but honestly I don't give a fuck about the women's team. There are more important things to sort out.

I pay about as much attention to the woman's team as I do to the minute hair crack in a wall outside my house....having said that , these women represent MAN CITY so I expect them to fuckign behave accordingly......she is obviously thick as shit.

(Now if she was A BRUNETTE I might give her a pass).

Summerbee had a business with Best, and below is taken from a newspaper article

"But in those halcyon days, when City and Manchester United were at each other’s throats, there was still time for off-field friendships to prosper between the two sets of players.

The biggest buddies were Summerbee and Best, whose moves in the city’s bars and night clubs were legendary.

“When I got married, there were seven Manchester United players at the wedding,” Summerbee recalled.

“When I went to Malcolm Allison’s house-warming, United players like Bill Foulkes, Pat Crerand and Denis Law were there."

I've heard my dad talk about him. Think he played for us before Robinho did or something.
