FA Cup semi final

Anyone watching it?

Completely forgot it was on. Watching rags lose at chavs. Nice goal from Hazard with their first shot in anger. Tyler and Ratboy trying to stifle their disappointment

Yep, I have them both games on. A decent start from Reading but Arse are easily class or two above and I think this one is over already

Edited now that we have this week's other games thread

Not easy to watch this game tho. I love FA Cup, and days at Wembley and this game is a constant reminder of our lads throwing away the FA cup. C*nts

I'm watching the semi. It's s good game and I think Reading will win this. What were we doing going to Abu before the cup game with Boro? Proper stupid. Our form has been terrible since then.

I forgot it was on. And I forgot Chelsea were playing. Just realised when I popped in the house.

I hate Arsene Wenger & their wanky fucking fans, but I wanted Arsenal to win, as I want the best possible antidote to Gerrard. I would actually prefer the rags to win the cup than that cunt.

Bastards

I jad an 8 fold accumulator on and Arsenal let me down as the win wasnt in 90 mins.

I still have monaco, real madrid and psv playing but i think i will end up with 7 wins and a draw with arsenal. Twatting twasterds

Me too. I was reluctantly shouting for Arsenal for the same reason.

Villa remind me a little of how City were in that 1980/81 season when John Bond came in, part way through it, to replace Big Mal.

Bond used the 'New Manager' syndrome to enthuse the side, tighten things up at the back and simplify things when going forward. Good results started to follow and, as confidence grew, the team had a good Cup run and reached the final.

The only trouble was that the following season was largely disappointing, as things didn't go quite as well as we'd all hoped it would and then, in the season after that (1982/83), Bond jumped ship and City ended up by being relegated.

I wonder if this sort of parallel will continue, in the same way, for Villa ??

Fair play to Villa, nice to see the Scousers lose. Game on for us with this Villa team next week, they have good pace and Benteke on fire.
