Interestingly guarded comment Mr Nool, particularly as it's still excitingly 2-1 after 40 minutes, with all to play for.

I think I'm going to do a 'Phips' and immerse myself fully in Swedish football (rather than Dortmund and German football) until I become expertly authoritative on that subject, or not as the case may be..............

Well at least Swedish football has the advantage of being played during the summer (the season runs spring to autumn), so it can be a good cure for your City abstinence.

Which teams are the Swedish equivalents of the Scum, Arsenal, Liverpool etc....ones that ordinary fans all hate ??

PS It's still 2-1 at half time, by the way.

Everyone should dislike Solna AIK. From a suburb but claims to be from the City. Ring a bell ;)?

I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

IFK Göteborg used to be envied, but not hated. They dominated Swedish football for much of the 80's and 90's and was the team everybody wanted to beat. But when in Europe the whole country would be behind them.

The last 15 years there's been a different champion pretty much every year. No dominant team is a good antidote to hatred.

I guess the only team that would come close is AIK. They're from the capital, they're arrogant, they have a fairly active hooligan following, etc.

I think I'm going to do a bit of research on Kalmar, probably just because of their place in Scandinavian history.

(PS It's still 2-1 after 80 minutes. Can Örebro lift themselves off the foot of the table with a hard fought victory tonight ??)

Pogba warming up for City by giving away the traditional needless early free kick resulting in a diagonal ball coming in and 0-1.

Zabba will be saying "That's ma boy !".

The Italian cup final is a home game for Lazio. How and why did Juventus not get the venue changed to say the San Siro

Sunderland are shite. They keep putting themselves under pressure. Having said that I wouldn't put it beyond Arsenal, to lose 1-0,.like against Swansea.

Panti keeping Sunderland in it.
They've had the odd break themselves, but no quality up front to take advantage.

Larsson is fucked but all substitutes are used. Still he manages to get blocks in although he can hardly walk. His knee is wrecked.
