I think Robben, Bale & Pogba are gettable, if ffp is 'relaxed'.

There are some reports that City are weighing up the prospect of a £24 million bid for Robben.

It's a lot to pay for a 31 year old footballer but Robben is quoted as saying he can "go on for another eight years".

We should go after Garay.

I still can”t believe he signed for Zenit. I think we will get De Bruyne.

Don't want to alter the overall squad too much and bringing in shed loads could take a lot of time to gel. So I'd just require.....

Messi
Bale (for Messi cover)
POGBA (Yaya can cover him of needs be)
Maradona (in off topic we reserect folks often)
Robben (to charge at defences, he has a lot in his engine room yet)
Tiago Silva
Lahm (just cause NQDP will be back big time for a rant or two)
New keeper to push Joe further

Oh fuck it chuck in that Sterling as well. Loosen change.

Not greedy is it?
I haven't a fecking clue what I'm doing! Gillie come back man I want my sig back. As the Photobucket thingy gone?

So money no object? Right then.

Replace Navas with that Argentinian winger. Bonus: he's mates with Aguero, so he could probably do a job for us.

Replace our left sided non-winger with Tranny. If he has a hissy fit, I'll make do with Bale.

Silva can stay and play behind Aguero.

Pogba can have one of the central midfield slots. One of the ferns can have the other, they won't be busy anyway.

Replace the fullbacks with a selection from Barca/Real. Keep Zaba because he's Zaba but he might have to sit on the bench a bit more. Get Varane.

Hart can keep his place to keep Herb happy. Plus we need one Englishman to stop Greg Dyke imploding.

Net spend: some barrels of oil. Who gives a shit, I've already paid for my season ticket, so it's not my money.

Sub's: Sterling and Coutinho. Not sure we need them, but I have shares in a candle company

31? Oldface looked 31 when he was 21. The cunt will be geriatric-looking at 33. Fucking unless he is about to pull a Benjamin Button then he'll be like a skeleton in a Ray Harryhausen film out there at 35.

Sign him up...why not.

cheers

Of course he can go on for another 8 years. He spends 2/3 of every season in the injury room.

When fit, the current 3rd best player in the world, most likely if he is available, would be at a decent price & we don't want him because he might not be as good in 3 years time ?

Why does he need to be younger than Nasri, if he is 3 yards faster, twice as good, & works twice as hard ? Would you fancy Kolarov against him in the derby next season ?

He wouldn't be one of my top targets, and I'm sure he was busted out of Chelsea for being a cunt in the dressing room, but maybe he's mellowed.

In all honesty though, over the years we've done ok having a good quality older player in the squad to complement the rest. Added to that, Robben is still a great player and a match winner.

Was that the reason? I thought he was just too exciting for Mourinho.

Haha, I seem to remember rumblings about issues with other players. He also had fitness and work rate issues back then, which as we saw with De Bruyne, Jose won't accept players in the squad who don't put a shift in, no matter how good they might be. He's seemed a different type of player when I've seen him for Bayern in recent years though, it's been a very good move for him

Wouldn't fancy him at City. It's not that he's a diving, cheating, one-footed greedy bastard. I just think he's past it now and on the start of a downward slope. We should not be buying that kind of player any more.

Not to mention the amount of time he spends lying prostrate on the floor during matches, having a quick nap.

No body fancy Isco anymore? I would still take him, looks a great player and is still very young!

Obviously Pogba in too, have we gone off Kurwaza from Monaco also? I'd also fancy Chiellini from Juve, he'd definitely add some steel at the back. And tevez back too, they can Dzeko, Jojo, Nasri and Clichy seen as I've taken their key players!

Also does anyone think Yaya could become a Pirlo type player? Or is he not disciplined enough? Definitely not as fucking cool!
