Lawro and Degenerate predictions gameweek 38

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Lawro and Degenerate predictions gameweek 38

Postby Wonderwall » Fri May 22, 2015 9:07 am

Its finally here folks, the last day of the season :-( Time to recharge your batteries and pay attention to the family for a few weeks to get some brownie points before we go again.

For Lawros final outing, he has decided to do his usual....which means he has NEVER predicted City to LOSE all season (bless him).
This week he is up against two DJ's, one is a Liverpool fan and the other one is a gunner, never heard of em so cant be arsed with their intro!

Lawro says
Southampton had an excellent win over Aston Villa last week and still have a slim chance of making the Europa League, depending on how Liverpool and Tottenham do.
I thought Saints would be down amongst the dead men this season so their manager Ronald Koeman deserves a lot of praise. I don't see his side ending an impressive campaign with a victory, though.
Manchester City have won their last five games and their good players are playing well again.
They probably should have done that for a lot longer this season, but at least they have rediscovered some form.
Lawro's prediction: 2-0
DJ Fresh & Adam F's prediction: 1-3

Merson.................. seems to have gone AWOL, nothing from him at all on the sky site..........I will check again later, they are normally there well before now, maybe he is on the pop again.

DONT FORGET TO DO YOUR PREDICTIONS FOR THE FINAL WEEK!

EDIT EDIT EDIT ...........the crackhead has spoken

Southampton had an unbelievable result last week but I can’t see them beating Manchester City, who will want to finish on a high. They have been disappointing this season by being complacent and inconsistent.

If you look at their results through the season, they’ve lost against the lesser teams – no disrespect, but they took just one point off Burnley out of six, lost at home to Stoke and drew with QPR away. That’s 10 points lost just to name three games. All of sudden, the gap to Chelsea wouldn’t have been that big. Chelsea don’t lose to those teams.

There will be changes this summer there; if you keep doing the same things you’ll keep getting the same results.

PAUL PREDICTS: 3-1

Of course MERSON is right, chelsea dont do that against lesser clubs, they drew to Sunderland and Lost to newcastle, they also drew against Burnley at home. The fucking thick bastard!

Wishful thinking from the djs, it must be painful supporting has-been clubs. And now FFP is being relaxed, it's not going to get any less painful for them.

Lawro, bless him, consistent to the end with 2-0. That and some sunshine will do for me on Sunday though.

Oh dear Paul! 10 points in three games, how did we manage that at 3 points per game? No wonder you're no good at gambling. And with 10 points the gap wouldn't have been so big, what like we would be ahead you mean? Take a few months off, fella.

Pretty much nailed it Patrick, apart from the scoreline although you got the margin right.

If you read what he says, it's 5 points dropped over two games against Burnley. He's thick but I doubt the editor would let him be that much wrong.

I know what he meant but he says 'That’s 10 points lost just to name three games'. In fact he names four games, so wrong either way.

Cut him some slack fellas (and no, that's not another name for a hard drug), if you replace 'Three games' with 'Three teams', he actually is correct. Two points from twelve. Oh perhaps not , let him have it.

Be nice to see Lawro v Crackhead in a boxing match. Loser then disappears from the telly.
