Who the fuck advises these people?
Qatar has deep enough pockets to follow the British press' every word and nail them for defamation every time a lie is printed, which believe me, has been most days this week, particularly on the subject of deaths related to world cup construction.
Yet they choose the tinpot dictatorship route of media manipulation?
Fucking morons

Mate, that number is absolute bullshit
The number you are seeing reported has been taken from the embassies of each country in Qatar and includes ALL dead of each countries nationals regardless of occupation. There are over 1m labourers in Qatar. Many of the dead don't even work in construction, most died in road traffic accidents, and the death rate per 1000 is actually a quarter that of India, (considering most are Indian, that's the best comparison) and is in fact lower than in the UK for the same age group.
Sounds a bit less 'tabloid headline' when put like that eh?
Don't be a fucking mug and listen to what the sun tell you, there is a lot of lazy journalism going on at the moment, and most of the information circulating about Qatari labor is blatantly false.
Like I said above, the Qatari authorities need to find the right way to get this information out, rather than trying to manipulate the regional media.
The logical way would simply be to use defamation laws to stop the British press lying about stuff like this, because obviously you've heard this and accepted it as fact, when it's nothing but an out and out misrepresentation of reality.

Trouble is, Doomie would be far too easily distracted by any passing females and he'd forget all about the mission in hand.

A police investigation in Brazil found evidence of payments made by Qatari construction companies into the secret bank account of a key FIFA voter.
The payments were allegedly made to Ricardo Teixeira, the disgraced former head of Brazilian football who was one of the 14 FIFA executive committee members who voted for Qatar to host the 2022 World Cup. At the same time, Swiss police have raided the offices of a company in Zurich as part of a wider inquiry into allegations about a friendly football match that was financed by a Qatari construction firm with close links to the emir.
While the payments were not from the official Qatar 2022 bid, they raise questions about whether the companies were seeking favour from their country’s royal family by influencing voters.
Mr Teixeira’s name crops up in both inquiries.
A judge in Monaco has accessed his secret bank account in the principality and passed its transaction details to Brazilian police who were already investigating him for money laundering and tax evasion. Brazilian prosecution sources say the account included money from Qatari companies that stood to benefit from World Cup building projects.
An Brazilian indictment against Mr Teixeira stated the account contained €30 million ($43m).
Mr Teixeira denied his vote had been influenced. He claimed his Monaco account was set up two years after Qatar won the right to host the World Cup and contained only funds that had come from Brazil. "I voted for Qatar, but I did not receive a penny for this," he said.
