I get this feeling that there is something in the background and it's something to do with the likes of Barca. Similar to the Kaka malarkey, I'm thinking that somebody like Barca have promised Wolfsburg a wad but only in January or next season. Wolfsburg then get to keep a very good player for the upcoming season with a promise of riches later down the line.

Either way, we're soon to find out.

I thought the same thing and then saw that Bayern offered for him to come next season, so could be that.

Yep, same synopsis.

The little fuck up last night says to me he's happy to go with the flow (not a mistake on his part) but his agent seems to have done so much work behind the scenes that he's not going to let it go now, ensuring everybody knows this is still on.

Yeah, especially since De Bruyne's agent says his future has not been decided and that he was told what to say in German by the host of that event allegedly not knowing what he was saying since his Deutsch is not so good.

I'm glad you've been active in this transfer window. You're side definitely needed freshening up.

Cheers

Mido aside, is this the most protracted transfer we've ever had?

Wolfsburger Allgemeine says de Bruyne has made it clear he wants a move. That would mean he's rejected any offer Wolfsburg have made. Supposedly he has made it clear its not just the money but also the sporting possibilities available at City including potential CL success. A deal is now there to be done and things will probably happen quickly. All that's to be decided is the price but City are clearly determined to push this over the line.

The Sun: De Bruyne will become a Manchester City player in the next 48 hours for around £50m. He could arrive on a private plane tomorrow.

Rumbled for sure. However your honor I'd like to present "autocorrect" as my first defense witness.
