The special cunt implied that De Bruyne wasn't willing to fight for his place. Some have interpreted that to mean that he doesn't work for the team.

From the little I've seen his work rate on the pitch is just as good/bad as anyone that plays in that attacking midfield area.

Just like Mata he probably found it difficult to thrive in the special cunt's regimented system. Pellegrini as we know gives footballers freedom to express themselves so we should see the best of him.

The thing I'm looking forward to most is his quality at delivering set pieces, it'll also be nice to have someone with the quality and willingness to take pots at goal from 30 yards.
