Yeah same, I shared nearly identical viewpoints too, hence why I thought he was pretty much always right on most things. Even down to advocating giving Kompany's poor form the benefit of the doubt and defending Navas etc... i think things got a bit heated as people started to jump on his posts a bit more and he left i presume.

Ah well. Shame as the EDS thread, one of the main reasons I come here in truth, is basically dead now.

He seemed like a pretty knowledgeable poster but fuck me did he like an essay. That and telling you how he could never be wrong with examples.

That said the board is better with him, I certainly have no desire for him to fuck off.
Tracking back is overrated.

What the fuck happend when I went on holidays.
Ted looks like he got the hump with one of you. Or all of us. MC has gone AWOL for whatever reason. I thought Twosips had given up also until I saw his recent responses.
Honestly. I know, I know fuck all. But I still debated with Ted, and as long as I could back up my opinion with reason, I always found him to be amenable.
True it was hard to change his mind on things, if you didn't agree, but I didn't find him to be one to call you a cnut for having a different view on things. And anyway, it's not really the point, to change someone's mind. We all reach our own conclusions in our own time.

Anyway, I'm only here barely a year. What do I know about the turnover on a Fans Forum. Twosips, WW, CCJJ, Mr.N,. OD, Rural, Beefy, Carl, etc. etc. I hope none of you are thinking of giving up soon.

Oh and you too Doomie.......you cnut..

Guessing that he came to the conclusion that we are an ungrateful bunch who don't deserve to be part of his blog. I think he's right.

Seriously, I don't really like him much but I would rather he had stayed and was just less dominant.

Seriously on one hand whilst I have never read one if Ted's post and they are a little longer than two sentences, I do hope he hasn't fucked off cause of any agro or Fallings out.

Someone contact him just to do a courtesy welfare check that the blokes okay.

Maybe Teds puter blew up with all the long winded essays every night and day ???? only guessing though lol . On a more serious note he was always ok with me whenever I challenged his point of view , fact is he knows his football really well but could lose his way from time to time with slightly over the top shit and posters would then challenge him thus leading Ted to stick to his guns and possibly get frustrated as fuck ???
Agree with others that this forum is / was a better forum with Ted on board , hope the guy is ok . Plenty of quality posters still on here with varied opinions and humour and this season is looking like shaping up into another memorable one for us all :-)
Not really here

Personally I miss Ted. He's an intelligent poster and I always used to read his posts. The site is poorer without him. Come back FFS you old cunt!

Well for what it's worth I miss the sense that Ted brought to this forum but I can understand why he's fucked off (if that's what's happened) because there's a small clique on here who are bitterly aggresive towards other posters and 1 or 2 who revel in targeted personal attacks. That's why many leave and why many don't join in the first place.
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

TS has just said he's on BlueMoon. Can't the people that miss him go on there? I think he should come back on here but if he's not going to why don't people just make a profile on there?

Anyone that fucks off because they got into a spat , be it personal or game related can fuckign do one as far as Im concerned.
I cannot stand fuckign cry babies on this site who couldnt hack a dig here and there......I think the one poster who tipifies having more character than most is Phips...that cunt gets it from all angles and he still dishes it back out and remains here..fucking give that man a medal !!!

Ted can take it like a man and I reckon hes just taken a sabatical........he doesnt fit the wanker profile as far as Im concerned.

IMO , other posters who have fucked off for good(Or as good as ) can stay fuckign off for good, dont even look in from time to time as its like your nosy fucking neighbor who "pops" in for a nosy and to borrow some sugar to see if youve decorated the house....,,you decided not to come round to say hello on a regular basis so why dont you just Get fucked altogether ????

And as for JF , you like no cunt who doesnt follow your mindset....you have been that way since the year dot you Lobster munching cunt !

On a side note.....Im having tea at 5pm ...everyones welcome.

you calling anyone "bitterly aggressive" is comedy gold.

I think most miss Ted as I said earlier in the thread. For all the reasons people have stated really.

Never knew he posted on BM tho. Seems incongruous with his persona on here tbh. But I hope he's enjoying himself.

Cheers

People come, people go. That's life I guess.

The board is busier and more entertaining when more folks use it so it would be good if both him and Mikhail Chigorin returned as both were thoughtfull posters who had interesting things to say. If they don't post again for whatever reason then I hope they are happy and more of the newer members contribute more.
