If our academy lads are as good as its being made out, isn't it clear Maffeo will start if Sagna is not fit?

And after four clean sheets those who are suggesting we change our whole shape and go to 3 at the back you can go and wash your mouths with soap

No way should we make about three changes to the structure of the team. It is a simple like for like replacement. A right back for a right back. Navas is superb at tracking back and doubling up. He will provide great back up to the threat of Bolassie. The other defenders will help out as well.

Plus, let's back our forwards to batter them. They should be far more concerned about Aguero, Sterling, Silva, Yaya and KDB than we are about an injured right back. Pardew may not even play an attacking side in order to try and combat our attacking threat. Though Palace are second and playing well, I still back us to win

Agree about Navas for protection, but that means KDB isn't playing. Not a bad bench warmer though and give him 15 if we need him

I know, KDB on the bench to come on for 20/25 minutes must scare the shit out of the opposition. Of course, if we start the game like we have all season, then we might dictate the pattern of the match from an early stage.

I am sure pellegrini will be drilling the troops later this week with extra care being given to the protection of the full backs with their pace up top. However we all know pellegrini is more attack minded and the palace defence is their weak link, therefore his stance of the best form of defence is attack might be the best option here, with maffeo given a few special instructions not to bomb on so much, like he does in the EDS.

Well, if ever there was a time to do it, it's now I suppose.
We'll see if Pellegrini trusts Maffeo or not.

Exactly. Let us have a bit of arrogance about us. We are top of the league with the best squad. Lets show what we can do, not what we cant

I can't see Maffeo playing on Saturday, fully expect to see Otamendi filling in there.

I would suspect, that is what will happen, but kind of hope Maffeo gets a vote of confidence.
I don't think Pellers would make him first choice.

Complete bollocks, there is no way Ted would say anything that only took 4 words.

In my defence, there's no way I'm going to say anything in four paragraphs.

Maybe Sagna will play. Probably turned his ankle slightly. I can't imagine he played on for 10 minutes if it was at all serious. If I'm wrong the French Football Federation have some serious questions to answer.

I hope its not Otamendi. Apparently he played there in the 2010 World Cup and was toasted by Podolski and Ozil.
Granted, Bolasie is no german international but hes no slouch either.
