Surely a dictionary would be quicker ?

I'm not sure why anyone would waste time doing a search under, "injury targeted," since that term doesn't acutally exist... That's why I put it in quotes. Even if you search under, "Aguero was targeted with tackles," you still won't find much. It's the dirty, little secret that former footballers all like to talk about, from the past. Current defenders won't admit that they purposely hurt opposition players, for obvious reasons.

Slows everything down, shit bag and doesn't defend either.

Absolutely stupid comments about Samir.

thought nasri was great in the away game in rome last year when we needed to win. But he is very inconsistent.

I think that's the problem with Nasri. People keep bringing up that one match where he was decent. No one could say "that match where Aguero was brilliant" because there's been so many. I think that says it all about Nasri.

He plays with fear, he thinks he is gonna get hooked for KDB. Talented, not a main man when needed, against Juve with Silva carrying he is average again. v top players.

He wasn't even that good in Rome. He scored a stunning goal, but it had been a fairly typical Nasri performance until that point.

To beat the top teams it is nailed on you have to be all at it or as we saw 2 bits of magic and shit hits the fan. We were good but missed chances to finish them off.

And largely because of being squanderful with our chances.

the Count picked a side I didn't like and players drifted in and out and a couple were complete shit. However it would all have been forgiven if we stab a second goal home and/or make some better substitutions at 1-1.

Some might say we seem cursed in Europe. I certainly felt that way a couple days ago but now...I just think we were arrogant cunts. We are also spoiled with chances. We're getting desensitized to attacking glowing football creating so many chances that one miss doesn't seem fatal. In CL it often is. The Count needs to get these fuckers focused on that fact or else he will be gone next season. Europe, like it was for Roman at Chelsea, is a target the Shiek wants for legitimacy and he will be looking at PSG and wondering why we are fucking it up left right and center at nearly every chance.

I actually should have just posted that as a one word reply. It was the only word that mattered regarding Tuesday.

It used to piss me right off when Mancini would skirt criticism from his selection or tactics by saying we had the chances and if we had taken them we would have easily win, but in hindsight is that somehow a more European approach to footballing efficiency that we don't have down yet? Roberto I bet had way better stats around conversion numbers than The Count. I'd like to research that. The Count's attacking approach certainly creates a shit ton of chances. You'd think he would have wanted a more efficient striker this summer and Bony could or should be that guy from his Swansea numbers. Maybe he will.

I should find a human to talk to and stop tying.

Interesting stats that Oliver Kay from the times threw in today.

He reckons City were the better side for an hour, but then tired quite dramatically after 60 mins which prompted some research.

In 29 CL games City have been outrun by the opposition in 21/29 games. Of these we have won only 4 drawn 5 & lost 12.

Of the 8 games where we outran the oppo then we won 6/8 of games.

Apparently Barca, Real & Bayern are the 3 teams who work hardest.

So guess we are just lazy & assume that we will win because of who we are rather than just putting the effort in. Simple stats that make a lot of sense.

We might want to say a prayer for the Seville game. Losing in Europe is not what they do. Far from it. 2 games against them are now crucial, I can see them and Juve being the games which we need points dropped, if we have any chance, plus 2nd means another trip to a Fav for the comp.
