Aguero reportedly out for a month, which sounds about right for a hammy. He will miss the Derby but the other league games are Norwich and Villa and Bournemoutj. He misses both Sevilla games, but who cares about that.

We will create many more chances for him than swansea did and he can head the ball in both penalty areas.
Having said that I would like Nacho man to get some time as well..

He has been very unlucky with his finishing when he has played recently. Given time and oppertunity that luck will change.

Totally agree with both points. The ball also sticks to him at times forcing two defenders to come and get it - we'll soon learn to exploit the space that leaves

Some fans' patience is always thin and the Internet is a great place to let lose. If one is wrong about their harshness of Bony you won't complain much because this would likely imply the team would be winning.

The sample size in the context of actually getting a real run of games is too small for my tastes.

If he can't perform in this run of games without good reason then I will begin to join the lot of worriers.

Of course that means Nacho will likely feature more so that should

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero suffers grade-two tear, and could face up to eight weeks on the sidelines

Doubt he'll be back to full match sharpness much before Christmas. Still, the title is not won until May, so as long as we are still in contention come March we shouldn't need to worry too much yet.

Still prefer him to be fit though, but this presents an opportunity for the likes of Bony and Iheanacho to step up and make names for themselves at City.

I doubt we will see Kun as a major player for us till next year. It's obviously important the striker replacements start firing but I also expect city to adopt tactically to expect more goals from other players like Yaya,Sterling, KDB, Nasri and maybe especially Silva (if fit) Didn't Merlin score a bunch of goals last season when Kun was missing?

Yeah, think last season was Silva's best ever in term of goals

Perhaps Sterling could have some shooting practice as extra training. The team has goals all over. We have had ten or eleven different scorers so far. I'm confident scoring won't be a big problem for us.

A grade-two tear could be anywhere between 2-8 weeks. Relax and believe in these legs.

What annoys me is the Argentina manager said it wasn't the same injury that Aguero went there with. What? So he already had an injury but was played anyway?!!!

City need to get a tighter handle on this kind of shit.

A guy who is close friends with Silva on BM "bluwhit" has spoken with him. He reckons "it's not good news on first examination, several weeks (4)"

We played him with a hamstring injury in the second half against Newcastle. He did pretty well.

City, Aguero and Argentina all knew he had a suspect hamstring before the break, but what is very strange is that the Argentinian manager is saying it wasn't the same injury!? I assumed from this it was a different leg.

Really hope Bony comes good now and we need him too! If not though, when we get to January I think we should go to Bayern, slap our cajones on the table and say £70m for Lewandowski! No more of this Aguero gets injured and we're fucked shit!

Getting injuries is part of the script but it does become more annoying when they come on international duty. To counter that, what has to be taken into consideration is that if they weren't going away on international duty we wouldn't have the team we have, because they wouldn't be good enough. It's one of those things we just have to live with.

For those who are keen on the EDS stepping up, and I'm not one of them, maybe it gives a chance for the likes of Nacho to prove his worth, or for Roberts to become the new Tranny. You never know, with real talent arounf them they may just get their chance to break through.

Looks like we won't see the best of Sergio for a few months now and with Dave's injury the boys will have to pull together to push us on.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".
