Ronaldo: "Pellegrini, one of the best managers in the game"

Postby PeterParker » Wed Oct 28, 2015 12:12 pm

In his new biography book called Rise of the Winner, the steps, Cristiano Ronaldo talked about his progress in the game, but did not forget the rivalry he had with City at Manchester United and how important was Pellegrini in his first months at Madrid.

about City:

"One of my biggest regrets it was that I did not have the chance to play against Manchester City with United, but at the level City is right now. When I was there (at United), they were are the start of the new project, the new owners just came in and there were changing a lot. People said that with Liverpool, Chelsea or Arsenal we had the difficult games, but with City was different, it did not matter if they were second or 16th, we always had a difficult game. The rivarly was like at Benfica - Sporting or Real - Atletico. It was very difficul to play them, they always caused us a lot of headaches. Now they are a huge club, they have one of the best youth systems in the world and as in Madrid or Barcelona, the best players in the world. I think Manchester should be proud that instead of one, they have two teams that perform at the highest level and dominated the league in the past 7 or 8 years. I hope United will win the title, of course, I played there, I have a lot of memories, but as I said, I am glad City reached a level that can make Man U fight to become better."

about Pellegrini:

"My first few months at Real were a bit difficult. Our owner just changed a lot from the team, while Barcelona were the champions of Europe at at some level that everybody said that they were better than Milan from 1989. I had problems scoring, I was playing a different position and don Manuel (Pellegrini) took me after one training session in his office and said: Listen, you need to play more relax, you are the best in the world, you just need time. After that, the next game he put me on a free role behind Benzema and I scored 4 times. He loved to play total football, If we conceided 3, he wanted us to score 6. Everyone was attacking in our team, he said that was the only way to defeat Barcelona. Almost worked that first season, we finished second, but the board decided to change the direction and brought Jose (Mourinho). I was sure when City contacted him, that they will win the title. It was just a matter of time. He was one of the best managers I ever worked with".

Hate to say it, but Tranny is starting to look more and more like a top lad.

Has he ever said anything bad about us? Despite his rag connections, i dont think i ever hated him as much as neville and the likes.

I was only reminiscing yesterday about Balls stamp on him....great times :D
derby day the scores were level,

I dunno. He doesn't make me feel that way. Firstly he always played for shit vs us from my recollection maybe bar once. And the rags were just a stepping stone to Madrid for him always. He will preach love etc for them but I don't think he has a fondness like you'd believe if you were the raggy sort.

Anyway. Who cares.

Forza The Count is all he was saying and we all agree.

It think he became wiser, while Messi went to other way around, with all the tattoos and the way he treats his fans and stuff.

Tranny looks more with his head in the right mind, instead of how he was a few years ago, a despicable cunt. He still is a rag, no doubt, but as it was said above, he never said anything bad about us. I kinda respect that.

Look at the types of Huntelaar, Eriksen, Kaka or even ... Milner.

But he is still a cunt.

PS: I liked how he called him Don Manuel. Seems like Pellers is a badass from Narcos.

That's silly. He'd make us indestructible going forward. We'd probably average 3 goals a match easy.

If he were really making a come get me plea you bet your sweet ass the Spafia would be interested. They couldn't deep throat his greasy cock fast enough.

Can't believe Tranny is trying to chat us up. Obviously he wanted to come back but back to Manchester.

He'd be at least £100m, plus massive wages and he's 31 in February. No thanks.

And he's an ex-rag cunt.

Pep had some nice quotes recently as well about Pellers:

"I am a huge fan of Pellegrini. I have learned much from him and his concepts," Guardiola said of the Chilean coach. "I am lucky to be a great admirer and a colleague of him. I feel as though I am a follower of him, of his game philosophy. One can watch one of his teams without knowing who trains them and one would immediately know that this is a Pellegrini team just by they way they play."

"He likes good players, those who control the ball and always play ahead," Guardiola said. "His teams play very well. I enjoy watching them. He is a coach whose ideas are very clear. I have faced him several times and I have suffered when he was with Villarreal or with Real Madrid while I was at Barcelona. The same with him now at City and with me here at Bayern."

"it doesn't matter who has won or lost more. A coach is good when you have to think about how to face him. When you have to give how to win a lot of thought. That is what always happens with Pellegrini."

"Pellegrini is a coach who has very clear ideas and is able to stamp them upon all the teams he has coached. He likes to play good football. His teams dominate and do not let their rivals play. That is the key to his football idea and I will always respect that."

He's my footballing mancrush. The ultimate professional sportsman in terms of his dedication to making himself better. Messi was born gifted, a one of a kind. Tranny is somebody who didn't have that, but did have the determination to shape himself into a footballing Adonis.

Yeah, I know, I'm a prick and so is he. But he's an admirable one.
