rest him??? we signed him to play in games like this. it's also going to be the best atmosphere ever at the etihad on saturday week so we'll drown the scouse fuckers out.

I was hoping to protect Raheem from Skrtel, so that he will be fit enough to defeat Juventus... and Arsenal at the Emirates, in December!

Alright guys, first post on here.

Myself and five mates are coming down from Edinburgh for a weekend in Manchester and have got ourselves tickets for the game. Looking for a bit of advice on where to go pre-match. I've been to a few City games in there past but i'd like to get a few pints beforehand with other City fans this time. I know it's slightly off topic but any help on nightclubs afterwards would be handy.

Cheers fellas, looking forward to the match already, 2-0 City!

If you're rowdy and fancy throwing beer around singing Munich songs get yourself to Mary D's across from the South Stand of the stadium.

If you just want a chilled out few pints and to soak in the atmosphere then head to City Square. They've usually got entertainment on.

Sergio quoted as saying he is working with the squad this week and hoping to be back in the squad for this weekend or 'maybe' next week. I hope he makes it for Saturday and Silva too. We have a great record at home to the bin burglars but we never seem to have our best 11 available. Moss is the ref.

Sterling should definitely play on Saturday - he will be right up for this one!
Hopefully Sergio is on the bench and get the last 15 minutes under his belt when we are coasting
to a comfortable victory.

I take it that's a typo in regards Bony?

As for Aguero, if the medics deem him fit then why should we leave him on the bench?

It is inevitable that we will applaud Milner and they will boo Sterling ... will anyone in the media pick that up and write or talk about it come Sunday?

Oh, wait ... sorry I forgot, them lot is the 'best', 'classiest' and 'most knowledgable' fans in the world.

Jonathan Moss has been appointed as referee for Saturday’s Barclays Premier League game against Liverpool.

City will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to ten in all competitions but return to winning ways in the Premier League, following a 0-0 draw with Aston Villa before the international break.

In his eight Premier League games this season, Moss has dished out 26 yellow cards and three reds.

This will be the second time he has refereed a Liverpool game this season - he also featured in the Reds' 3-2 win over Aston Villa.

The last time he took charge of a City game was back in February, in the Blues' 1-1 draw at home to Hull. Fernandinho and Samir Nasri went into the book that day.
