Without Kompany we lack leadership, nobody steps up to be counted.

Worried.
Half decent finishing and we'd have 2 goals
But defense looks a mess and we're creating way too few chances

Some fools on here writing tosh about Kevin. Really, the guy looks like our only forward thinking player. Everyone else plays backwards like in Rugby.

We had chances our selves and Juventus were not that impressive in both games.

I think that I'll be the story of our season a striker light added to nothing set at the back Willy back in and Stoke away coming up. Ah well .

Just don't get some of Yaya's passing at all...achieves nothing ...doesn't pull other team around as too slow... Literally waste of time. Our fullbacks are not good enough at attacking for our formation...create nothing. Thought we had our moments and their goal was shit. Missed some really good chances..Ho hum... These team really needs Aguero back for Silva and Kompany fit for rest of the season.

So how does it work re next round? It doesn't matter who we get as we simply don't seem to be able to come to grips with the style of play, I can't see how they won't change the manager the end of the season.
Back to the league and a big showing from our lot is most definitely required.

Performance was a bit better, 1-0 defeat is progress after Saturday abomination.
These defeats every other week now, are making me nostalgic.
The Engineer has engineered us 2 costly defeats on the bounce, and a possible meeting with Bayern ,Read Madrid ,Barcelona in the next round. Engineer my arse pffffffffffft.

We keep wasting chance after chance after chance. The likes of Bayern would've absolutely punished Juve today.
We also really need better full backs. I don't know how we have ended in a situation where 3 of our full backs are 30+ and another is getting to that age too.

My god, what a MASSIVE cunt he is.
He shoots because he no longer has the legs to take it in an extra 5-10. Metres without having it taken off him.
He's a great player and we unfortunately do not have a good replacement for him, but I fear he is well past it at this level.
He doesn't look fit. Some think he was having a good game, but I think he was quite sloppy in his bread and butter stuff. Two yard passes going astray. It slows us down.
Having said all that he still played better than a few out there that should have done a lot better.
What does that say about our team.

True, as slow as our play has been, fern and Raheem missed sitters from a few yards out
I think the stats will back up how we all seen the game. We were more like the home side, winning the possession and having plenty of chances but not having the quality when it counted.
We decided not to fulfil the striking compliment we had from last season, and it's looking like it was a mistake, especially as Pellers doesn't see Nacho as a natural striker.

You agenda is obvious. If you think Pellers is at fault for today, then you really are deluded and blinkered.

How on earth can you work out that the defense is a mess ?
The midfield gave the ball away cheaply.
Juve were under the kosh, They had eleven players in their own half most of the game . They are the home team FFS !
They got a goal on the break and only looked dangerous when we screwed up on a contra play.
Good luck to them. but I think for the most part, the way we play is correct. We are not upto the high standard we saw at the beginning of the season. for whatever reason.

Our style of play never changes week in week out and most of the better teams have sussed us out. If we don't get on top early on we're usually fooked!

The fuckwits , the 'spafia' got rid of Edin . A seasoned, young (29) striker ! where's Bony ? Kun ? always injured ... It's not like we are Liverpool, a selling club.
FFS. we are being seriously held back by the Spanish connection and I don't mean David Silva, he ain't Spanish anyway .

That's it really. We had two chances. It could have been 5-2.
Our ever changing defence is more than just a worry. At this level we should not have to rely on Kompany (who was being slated last year) to get them organized.
