So when I see Delph defending on in front of Clichy, am I imagining things? And are you seriously saying that Clichy is defending his flank alone? And are you seriously thinking that when people are saying they want two midfielders in the middle with yaya, they are saying that they want one flank left unprotected?

I'm offended by the Herb comment by the way. Gonna get the mods on it.

He's playing on the left side of a central 3.


Yep, pretty much. Comes out when the ball travels to CLichy's side, sometimes tucks in when we attack or he attacks on the left side.

That surge by Toure then was was crying out for a ball inside the fullback for Navas to run onto but he's backing off towards the touchline.
