This should be made into a Michael Owen sticky thread, recording his totally fucking stupid and dull remarks throughout the season(s). I'll throw in his recent line that 'City struggle to win games when they don't score.'

In fairness who'd have predicted any of the crazy results this league has thrown at us this season?

The thread subject line says it all, no need to post further.

If life was fair, we wouldn't have to put up with this dipstick and his opinions and nonsense commentaries.

Chelsea are the freak this season, but Leicester were in blistering form at the end of last season. I had them down as a top half finish. In their last 26 games, they've won 18, drawn 6 and lost 2.

Bournemouth and Watford have been pretty impressive as well. Us and rags been shite. Strange season.

Owen went up a notch in my eyes when he ripped into the scum panel on BT sports after thier chumps exit. Still a knob though.

It is as if the first half a dozen games never happened. No-one appears to want to remember how good we were then. We have been a bit inconsistent, yes, but if a five-match winning run without conceding a goal is "shite", I'd love to know what you think "very good" is.

Have you forgotten Stoke, villa, pool, spuds, Swansea, juve, Norwich, West Ham?

We all remember our start was awesome. But that was followed by some dire performances up to date. You just can't ignore how badly we have been playing because we had a great start.

You can't ignore how good our start was just because of our recent form ;)

Seriously though, our injuries appear to be easing up - certainly those of the best players in the team/league/world.
I think when we have some of the best players in the world in the same side we will open up a good lead. Silva should be back to somewhere like his best at this stage, although we are still missing Kompany and Aguero will be a bit rusty, so I'm not sure how tonight will go, because they are our closest rivals IMO.

If we come away with anything better than a loss with no injuries to key players, we should be top by January.

I just hope we don't bend over like we have done at their place for the vast majority of my life.

I think we can lose tonight and still win the league comfortably providing (as OD pointed out) we get those big guns back and fully fit for an extended period.

I'd just like to point out that the title of this thread is extremely provocative and it could easily upset a lot of people.
Please re-title as Michael Owen Boring Arsewipe. Ta
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.
