Not long 'til we see the lineups. Predictions? Nacho to start maybe? Fernando and Navas in? Is Kolarov still injured?

I'd say the nailed on starters are Willy, MDM, Otter, Yaya, Kun.

Yaya won't be involved today. Kolarov is still injured and has not returned to training as MP said he would last week. I hope Silva and Aguero get a rest but they are in the squad today.

Tons of youth in the bench, Sagna at CB, and everything else a very new approach. Excited to see how it all worked out

COME ON CITY!!!

Yaya not spotted at training yesterday so could be injured. Correct decision to leave Aguero and Silva on bench with a League match coming up. High time we tried out Sagna at centre back given that MdM really struggles for pace these days. I hope Delph won't be put off by the boo boys and will stick it to Villa. Not sure whether Kelechi is best up front on his own but let's see. He needs opportunities and he's hardly disappointed so far. 0-2 to City.

I like the fact that he has so much youth on the bench and also the new approach.
Hope it works out, but won't get too upset if it doesn't. You have to try it to see if it works.

Really untested line up. Hope Villa haven't got their first eleven out. We are in for a tough afternoon if they have and we really don't want a replay. Keep it simple and don't be too adventurous early doors as we can't afford to go behind as well have to work much harder to bring it back. They are the home side so the pressure is on them to come out and attack. Let our pace worry them on the counter

Villa have put out a full team. Micah and Sinclair playing. They are so far adrift in the league, they may as well go for it.
