I was gutted when I thought he was staying at Villa, as after a quiet start, he'd really come on in a poor side. By next season, with fewer injuries and more time learning from the likes of Yaya, Dave etc I think he'll be a key part of the team and one of the best in England. We needed more width, kept running into a packed defence through the middle. Presumably Pellers wanted to keep his more creative players on
I didn't disagree with Navas and width, but of the three midfielders he wasnt my first choice to come off (neither was Fernandinho)
