Legends?

Postby Beefymcfc » Sun Feb 28, 2016 8:35 pm

After another great Trophy win, which we had it fucking all, how many of this team are now your Legends?

This season will probably see the end of an era, where those who have done us proud move on or become secondary players. Sad, in respect, but for where they've brought us, who are your top 3?

And you know, I'd have the fucking lot ;-)

The true legend at Manchester City is Sheikh Mansour.
"Like all bullies, they've just found out that there is a much bigger guy in town, someone who is richer and more powerful than their worst nightmare. And this smiling Arabic assassin is intent on stealing all the treasures they've nicked off everyone else, and pulverising them into commercial and footballing oblivion as he does so."

That's hard because there are four.

So the list would be Aguero, Silva, Yaya, Kompany. I think that's pretty much what everyone would say.

Dropping one from that list sucks, but it would probably be my boy David. That hurts twice.

But the others: Club captain during the club's most successful period ever. The guy who dragged us to a title win almost singlehandedly and the lad who scored that goal...also he may have scored a few more than that, maybe.

I wouldn't be too quick to write off a lot of these senior players just yet. Kompany, Silva, and Zabba all are in the legends bracket, but they will have a future under pep.
Yaya is a legend who will probably move on.
Aguero is a legend, but he's too young.
