Players come and go and managers come ago and yes we are all down and disappointed after last night but something that makes this great football club Manchester City unique and a huge part in our hearts and lives is what we are and where we have come from and the barriers we have broke down and continue to break down .
20 years ago we got relegated to the domestic 3rd tier , last night we were one goal away from reaching the Champions League final , today we are still the number one football club in Manchester !

if the players we had in the 90s jogged around like some of this lot we'd be in the northern premier division right now

Nice one.

I'm grateful for the 5 trophies in the last few years and excited about the many more to come.

Not a bad few years for a bunch of lazy cunts and a hopeless manager.

Amen brother 64, Amen.

Such a balancing post may come a little too early after lastnight for some on here, but you are totally on the money for me.

Onwards and upwards, we've done the post mortem, let's move on

Many of them did. You have a very selective memory, mate. Or a very poor one, I am not sure which.

I am with City64 on this.

Spot on. Like niall quimm making it up that West Ham battered us at ours this season. Complete shit, but repeat it often enough and people start to believe it.

Neither Mcgoldrick or Creaney played in Gillingham final, which is what I mentioned in the other thread.

When you're own fans are putting words in your mouth and naming two shitty players from a time you've not mentioned what's the chance hey?
