I love that someone else has voted Wolves V Wigan as the 'biggest game of the weekend' too.

OBVIOUSLY it's City, but I do think that Bolton v Arse could be interesting, what with the new manager and all. If we do our bit I could see us gaining some points on Arse, but can't see Spuds getting anything other than 3 points.

They are hardly fixtures to set the world alight this weekend...even as a neutral the City game is the standout fixture

Burnley did get three points at home, and the Scum have been looking a bit shaky lately ...

Might go to some hardcore Everton boozer (what's that naughty one by the roundabout at the top of the road from Goodison?) before the game tomorrow to cheer on Stoke with them, they'll love it.

Really looking forward to Bolton vs Arsenal on Sunday, see what changes (if any) Coyle makes to them. Here's hoping new manager syndrome kicks in!

Spuds v Hull has a bit of interest for me after what happenned to bent Harry during the week.

Of course we city fans can't wait at the moment. You sort of wish each day away, because of all the exciting games coming up.
However, I think the game United vs Burnley is perhaps the one most people will be wanting to know how it finished. United are under massive pressure now and they simply can't afford a slip up today. Added to the fact that Burnley have a new manager in , on a hiding to nothing going to Old Trafford, also knowing that the last team to play there, Leeds, outplayed a very disappointing and average United team. Fortunately for us we will have the pleasure of watching both games today without being distracted from our own exciting match. I also think United will drop points today.

Don't ask me why but I have a feeling that both Chelsea and United will drop points today.

Have you noticed - hardly a mention in the press. Can you imagine the furore if that was someone at City?

Stoke vs Liverpool 12-45pm kick off

I can actually see stoke nicking this one and i have a feeling that it might be by a 2 goal margin. I am going too go for a 2-0 win to stoke!

There are a few injuries for Liverpool and key ones that will affect there team. Gerrard, Torres, Johnson and Yossi are out. They are key players to Liverpools team and they will struggle without them!

I can see Liverpool having anothr bad day today.

Ryan Babel's Liverpool future is in doubt after he was left out of the squad for Saturday's game at Stoke.

Steven Gerrard, Fernando Torres and Yossi Benayoun are injured, but Javier Mascherano returns from suspension and Maxi Rodriguez could make his debut.

Stoke forward Tuncay is again doubtful as he is yet to fully recover from a hamstring injury suffered in the 3-2 home win over Fulham.

Thomas Sorensen may return in goal following a finger injury.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Stoke

Suspended: None Doubtful: Sorensen (finger), Tuncay (hamstring)

Injured: None

Liverpool

Suspended: None Doubtful: None

Injured: Benayoun (rib), Gerrard (hamstring), Johnson & Torres (both knee)

Not only are they sinking financially...... thier ground is under water now as well!
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

So maxi starts on the bench. I have seen him in la Liga and he looks a decent footballer! Is capable of having an impact on a game!

I'm 31 and that is easily THE worst Liverpool line up in my lifetime.

Stoke have already made two subs due to injuries!

Lucas has just been booked and that is 5 yellows so he is suspended for the next game.

Much as I dislike red scouse, they were just robbed of a nailed on penno. Disgraceful reffing. Just to add insult to injury Lucas got booked for diving and is now suspended next game.

Half time-

Stoke 0-0 Liverpool

In my opinion it has been quite a boring half. Liverpool have not looked good at all but there defence is holding firm!
