He is a fuckign cunt who should be just as grateful that our club made him a world star...as when he was at Barca , he was just another player.
Goater,Dickov,Bell,Lake, corrigan to name but just a few are what are known as TRUE LEGENDS on and off the pitch.
The list of "legends" for other clubs and in other sports who also meet the criteria you are suggesting disqualifies a player from being awarded legend status is too long to write. Even if I want them to be more likable off the pitch, some are just not because of realties of being a global megastar who has received very special treatment from a young age. Superstar entertainers in various worlds are at pretty high risk for developing overinflated egos and related behaviours due to this, I suspect.
Yaya we all know is easily one of the best midfielders of his generation and what he has brought us including several huge performances when it mattered. He has been a joy to watch as an imposing dominate force with incredible vision and technical ability that is so difficult to compare since his attributes are so unique. Yet, he never received the level of support from certain fans because of playing for our club, and one could ask if there is something else underneath the surface as well when Gerrard is rated higher than him by the media during our last title winning season.
How do you think he feels about it? I suspect he feels slighted over his career for his qualities and trophies, and when you have a massive ego as I suspect he has developed, it's plausible that you will have a hard time accepting loss of status as you get older and more at risk to rationalise it into, "Its them, not me." I'm not excusing his agent's behaviour or even some of his - although the worst case came after the loss of his brother which is worth noting. However, go check some of the issues he posts about regarding help with positive change
I am a big fan of his for his performances, but if you think he's such a horrible human being, where does this come from:
