As a 'keeper yourself Sis, how did you rate Bravo's contribution last night ??

Genuine question as he's certainly been in the media firing line since his debut in the Derby.

I went for Razzer. Best I've seen him play. Stones was classy as fuck, Bravo was much much better and Gundo looks awesome.

Gave mine to the mighty Kun. Had a second one on Stones though he just goes about his business without any real fuss but is a fucking giant for us in every sense at the moment

As a 'keeper yourself Sis, how did you rate Bravo's contribution last night ??

Genuine question as he's certainly been in the media firing line since his debut in the Derby.

I thought he was really impressive. He plays balls between the lines, is always there as an option for his team mates and doesn't tend to just hike it up the pitch. He did it on one occasion go long in the 2nd half and Pep was screaming at him for ages trying to get his attention to tell him not to as it turned over possession to Gladbach. The bit of skill he showed was sublime and I imagine most keepers that did that would then smash the ball 70 yards up the pitch. He is very controlled and measured and we will love him by the end of the season. Football has changed and gone are the days of defenders just kicking people and lumping balls up field and gone are the days of keepers just being there to make saves and take goal kicks. Has he been involved in the build up of two goals we have scored all ready by being measured in his approach? Not a bad start if you ask me.

I wasn't surprised when Joe was replaced if I am honest. When I was at City one of the coaches told me that Pellers was fuming with Hart and his display at home to Munich when they destroyed us and we couldn't get the ball back. I think it ended up 3-2 to them as we scored two late goals but we had been schooled. When City did get possession and the ball found its way to Hart he would lump it up the field or put it out of play again turning possession over. The manager of Munich that day, Pep Guardiola.

I couldn't find any direct comparisons between City player stats v United player stats as none of the papers seemed to want to show the comparisons.
All the paper's analysis of the United v City game seem to want to say we out played them but Bravo was terrible and could have cost us the win.

the interesting thing I got out of the match is exactly as Sis describes above, our possession stats were 60/40 in our favour chiefly because Bravo acting as sweeper afforded us the luxury to hold onto the ball even with Ibra and Rooney pressing up on our CB's.

Look at the passing stats for Bravo and Rooney in that game and it tells you all you need to know about why we have this goalkeeper.
Bravo 44 passes.
Rooney 31 passes.

And I would guess that Bravo's were more constructive to our attacking play than most of Rooney's too.
