Rumours circulating that their manager has been axed.

Swansea City press conference

LIVE: Breaking news as Leon Britton addresses concerns amid Guidolin rumours

UPDATED 13:13, 20TH SEPTEMBER 2016
BY CHRIS WATHAN , MATTHEW SOUTHCOMBE
The Swans midfielder faces the media ahead of testing EFL Cup tie with Manchester City

Leon Britton will field questions from the press ahead of tomorrow night's EFL Cup match against Premier League high-fliers Manchester City.

There is a bit of a cloud hanging over the Liberty Stadium at the moment, with pressure mounting on manager Francesco Guidolin and some papers suggesting he could be facing the sack.

Performances are, perhaps, more concerning than the results at the moment and many fans are struggling to see light at the end of the tunnel.

Back-to-back fixtures against Man City - in the cup and league - are followed by games against Liverpool and Arsenal, so things are not getting any easier.

Follow Britton's press conference live here...

It's tough to know what the midfield will be tomorrow with no Silva, Delph, Fern 2 and Yaya available. Maybe:
Willy
Maffeo Otter Tosin Clichy
Garcia Zaba
Navas Sane Angelino
Nacho
South Stand Balti

Delph is fit. Maybe Vinny will be used in midfield.

I rely on you WW for kosher info but after studying the OS Swansea training video I can see no sign of Fabian's shining pate. I hoped Fernando might be ready and he was definitely there. No Silva but Yaya continues to train with the squad, whether he travels to Wales remains to be seen, Guardiola says he wants the entire fit squad ready and available, so if the apology is made, irrespective of Seluk, he could feature later on..

Pep said earlier that Fernando and Delph have a chance of playing.

just listened to the PC in full, Fernando is ready but Delph isn't. He will travel and continue rehab but won't feature at the week-end either. Silva might.

This is FAW Dragons Park where the team will be limbering up for their games at The Liberty, they have the choice of a number of 5 star hotels nearby.
