8, 9, or 10 changes?

I reckon this line-up is nailed on

------------------------Bravo--------------------
Sagna----Otamendi-----Stones----Kolarov
--------------------Fernandinho-------------------
Navas-- De Bruyne----Gundogan-----Sterling
----------------------Aguero--------------------------

Bench: Caballero, Zabaleta, Clichy, Fernando, Silva, Sane, Iheanacho

He still has two more matches left on his ban, put Nacho man in and you're right.

The great thing about this match is i doubt Swansea will change that many players ( i have no idea of their squad but guess last nights team was 1st choice) so last night would have been the perfect opportunity for Pep and those playing Saturday to have got the measure of their game

Pay attention.
Kun's ban is finished.
The three matches were scum (the game the ban was engineered for, much good it did them), Bournemouth, and Swansea last night.
He's now available

If Silva is available for selection I would put Sterling in the right and drop Navas to the bench with Silva on the left.

If he was fit to start I'd agree, but Pep will still be after width on both sides so I reckon Ginger on the right and Merlin inside. Probably will come on for at least part of the game anyway, he'll be wanted at Parkhead on Wednesday.

It will be fascinating to see the team and how thay play. Pep likes pace and flair on the wings but he also loves to control the middle of the park. Dinho will surely play but will he find a slot for all 3 of Merlin,KDB and Ilkay? Hard to second guess Pep but whatever the team ,if we play well we win.

I'd read that Swansea had made 8 changes for the League Cup game. I don't know what their best team is or whether it was their best team that had played against Southampton.

Swansea, meanwhile showed eight changes following a 1-0 defeat at Southampton last time out. Jordi Amat, Jack Cork and Kyle Naughton were retained, while Wales defender Neil Taylor returned following his public show of disapproval after being substituted during the home draw against Chelsea 10 days ago.

Feeling anxious about this one. Surely the winning can't continue forever. Will we have a shocker today? Too early yet for opposing managers to have come up with effective counter tactics, especially the disarrayed Swansea team, and Pep is very adaptable and has been able to change things in the second half several times anyway.

I think/hope we'll win but it could be any score, even a 1-0. I'll go for a 1-3 as it's always more interesting and exciting when the opposition are able to score.
