Yes he could have passed to Aguero for a tap in but I think to finish like that will be good for Sterling's confidence given that he's not been too good in 1:1 situations and the lay off option will not always be available.

1.
Saw Sterling's goal on TV - it was fantastic.
But - should he have passed to Kun?
On TV it looked like Kun was in on goal if he had got the pass?

2. If the above is correct i.e. the odds on Kun scoring were higher so Sterling should have passed to him
What will be the advise to Sterling from the coaching staff - for future reference?
Pass or have the confidence to go it alone.

If the above questions are silly just ignore them please.

1. No , why ? would kun pass to him ? no way Kun is a selfish striker . It will be a good reminder to Kun that others are doing just as well as he is.

I can see why the question is asked, but I think he would have been expected to pass, as he has done so more regularly, and then somewhat criticised for doing so (i.e. Phil Neville MOTD). By scoring in that situation he has now opened up his game and put defenders in place where they have to guess more. He needed to show he could do that, and he did it so well that it can only be a good thing. He has been very unselfish prior.

Kun might get more goals as a result actually.

Can't win, can he? Like you say criticised for not shooting and now being questioned on whether he should've passed after scoring an excellent goal.

There's a great angle from behind the goal where you can see him giving Naughton the eyes twice ensuring he commits more to the pass and leaves himself exposed on the outside, what it also did was kept Fabianski central in case Aguero got it, which meant there was more space to slot into when Fabianski tried to close him down.

In regards question 2, I'd say he's being encouraged to go for goal more himself.
