We have just played 2 CL semis against Real (albeit not very well) and we are up with the big boys - if we don't believe it ourselves how can we convince others? Good news is the pundits seem to be getting it.
So yes, good game, well played, next match please.
I think the fact that we came from behind in this one gives it huge significance in terms of our squad mentality in particular.
We did that against Bayern in Germany.
How is this any more of a watershed moment than that?
Bayern had already qualified from the group going into that game, still a fantastic achievement but last night was special.
What made last night significant to me was that the players seemed to know they were playing against 12 men from the moment Sterling was booked. They refused to let the ref influence the result.
