Is that their worst start to a football (you know, since it was invented in 92) season ever now?

Wasn't Moyes terrible, then van Haal was terrible? Who is the true 'terrible one'?

True enough, but I can't bear the rags getting anything.

Give them a break. They don't spend money like City do and only have academy players in the squad you know.

Barca drew 0-0 at home with Malaga. Without Messi or Suarez or Iniesta they looked distinctly average.

Another 0-0 at St Mary's. The dippers had two shots on target all game. Good weekend so far. Could do with Chelsea dropping points tomorrow and all will be well with the world

0-0 at the moment between Spurs and West Ham, after 20 mins.

Hope it stays that way. Probably won't.

My goodness.

Leicester's defeat against Watford means they have dropped to 14th in the table. If West Ham could somehow win today (not going to happen I know) they would go above the Champions, who would only be two points above Hull who are third from the bottom.

Is relegation, although probably unlikely, a faint possibility for Leicester ??

Overall, a good point for Swansea away to Everton, although they'll be gutted they didn't get all three after the Toffees only equalised in the 90th minute.

There seems to be a bit of a gap opening up between Arsenal in 4th spot on 25 points and Everton and The Scum, both on 19 points, in 7th and 6th places respectively.

It's a possibility. Slim, but the threat is there all the same. I've said previously I think they will be relegated within three years of winning the title and I still stand by that

In all honesty, I don't think the Scum have ever been a good "footballing" team.

I know I'm biased but, taking off my blue tinted spectacles for a moment, I don't think they were an attractive side in the whole of FergusScum's tenure; functional but unattractive and even in the much lauded 'Law, Best, Charlton, Crerand' era, I always thought they were a somewhat disjointed outfit, relying on individuals rather than a smooth, cultured footballing approach.

They've always been prone to the longer ball type game - one example amongst many, being when Sparky Spews played up front for them - and they've always relied on percentages, irrespective of what players they've had.

All talk of their exciting attacking football, style, flair, verve and "The United Way" of playing has just been no more than a media and advertisement smokescreen.

At least Stoke, under Pulis, were openly honest with the way they went about their business, unlike the odious, cynical, diabolical outfits which, from time immemorial, have emanated from the Swamp.

Is that why Kolarov wasn't at his best today. Still a bit sore perhaps

Who's this Harry Winks who scored the goal for Spurs.

His surname could give cause for a goodly number of puns, unfortunate or otherwise.

I don't suppose we can expect any miracles when Middlesborough take on Chelsea tomorrow but, just a thought, Conte has been given the dreaded 'Manager of the Month Award' for October so, fingers crossed.........
