Maybe this is posted in one of the 10000 other Pep threads, yet...
So much to digest in this Henry interview...whoa.
What is it he is saying is not allowed with regards to high pressing?
Points about the ball being played in the air constantly more vs. on the ground in England is clearly not just an observation...
Hear him...he is adapting...and thinking.
He challenges those who ask him to "change" quite well, as someone who adapts but does not abandon his true beliefs.
The point about "time conceded" I am trying to figure out what he meant...saying there is more in the PL than elsewhere. Is that a reference to added time?
Thought: Why have PL top clubs, outside of Chelsea's odd recent run, and ours last season not won or gone far in the CL?
I know quite a a few of us believe it's primarily about an "agenda," yet has anything else changed from when PL clubs won or went much farther more regularly that might also be contributing? Has the evolution of the game led to traditional English style of football struggle, continentally, compared within its own leagues, and is this partially why he wanted to come here? Win within, and elsewhere.
"I'm not here to make fantastic football. I'm here to win the games."
