1-1. Good goal from Bertrand. Anyone think Clichy is capable of that?

No, me neither

Yellows for Fabregas and Chelaboah were the same. Means that no retrospective action can be taken but any incidents involving our players don't involve yellow cards which leaves it open for Sky to hype until the FA is forced to take action.

Except Aguero also got a yellow didn't he... different rules.

Balotelli just scored for Nice to put them 1-0 up. Harts Torino are 3-0 down after 25 minutes away at Napoli.

They are playing mustard and aren't leading anymore.

Two things - They used the same line with Scholes for years when he used to try killing other players careers off. And also, Jenas?!!! WTF?!! Why is he MOTD? They cannot find another footballing 'brain'?

Mase , There was a german footballer Holzenbein, who tackled pretty badly and gave Kaiser Franz the freedom to go forward. His name literally means 'to cut down legs ' holzen , to cut down and bein = leg.

Even he was not as clumsy in the tackle as Scholes. A truly shocking tackler.

Vardy is an amateur compared to him.

Re Jenas , indeed wtf is this wally doing on TV?

Monaco play Lyon tonight. Should be a decent game if recent results are anything to go by

I knew they were playing a decent team, both have 4 letters so not that far out ;-)

Just heard that Craig Pawson's reward for this game is our trip Scouse2 on New Years Eve

Oh, goody! Fails to send Rojo off but then sends Vardy off for far less. Incompetence or directive, either or it's fucking shit.

Blue Scouse getting stuck in and not giving the Dippers any space whatsoever.

Two fouls on Everton players within 10 seconds of each other...nothing given.

Don't worry Candlepool, Mike Dean's got your back.

Fairly strange that he's never ref'd a Dipper Derby and even stranger that he's reffing it now.

Not a bad game tbh but definitely lacking in quality. A good scrap though, hopefully Everton don't run out of steam.

Really does need a goal.

And Milner to break his leg, and his head, and I surprised myself with how much hatred I have for the cunt.

They did already at the end of the first half. If they don't score within the first 15 of the second period, liverpuddle will win with at least two goals.

Gareth Barry is on to make his 610th PL appearance, just 22 behind Giggs. That's 23 more PL games than Sunderland have played!
