honestly, considering the the transfers that have already happened to the Chinese League, this one is the least ridiculous.
Oscar is a good player and i could see him being worth that fee.
Graziano Pelle being paid as much as he is? no way. Jackson Martinez for 36m? yeah right. Chelsea's Ramires for 24m? no chance.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

They want to win a World Cup. They have the resources and a plan.
They're not fucking about and they aren't going to disappear. This is just the beginning.

Is that the same Jackson Martinez that was being linked with a move to all the top clubs in Europe before his move to Atletico? Didn't he move to Atletico for around £25m.

Chelsea and the dippers always seem to hit the jackpot on transfers but we are forever the bridesmaid. We always get docked and never manage to let someone leave for mega money. Only Negredo who was a bit of a good deal.

Chelsea's players manage to retain a sell-on appeal. they did get lucky with the Ramires fee though.
which City player that we've wanted to move would entice someone to spend big money? Mangala? Bony? Jovetic? Sinclair? Garcia? unlike those guys Oscar is actually good. the one player that we might have a chance with is Nasri to Sevilla after his loan. maybe Joe to Liverpool. and we did get shafted with Dzeko though.

Jovetic is a naughty little player. He was just always injured here. He'd piss all over Oscar in my opinion.
I think WW is referring to the Tevez type transfers where they're still absolutely class players and we get next to nothing for them. Tevez may have only had a year left on his contract but if it was the other way around we'd still be paying a lot.

Shrek has been offered £700k/week to go to China. I wonder how much England fans are contributing to that....probably £650k.

Why would England fans contribute to that? I bet he will still be picked

You may be right, if he was sent on the manned mission to Mars, Southgate would still name him in the provisional squad.

Txiki is as good at selling players as he is at buying players.

China, in the not too far distant future, could become the hub of world football with the money and backing that their clubs seem to have.
It might well be that they will 'hoover up' all the best talents on each continent and this could well affect European Leagues quite pointedly, especially the Prem.
If this were to happen, would Sky and BT be pumping money into the Chinese League, to the exclusion of of our own League and would this lead to a marked reduction in quality of football within these shores ??
On the other hand, would there be more scope for English/British talent to be used here and, paradoxically, would this be to the benefit of National sides on these islands ??
Just musing.

See Gollum is acting like 'Arry in saying who he nearly signed. Bale, Fabregas and Kroos apparently. And they then settled for bogbrush. Hilarious

The lad I know that is mates with Hart said today "he's probably going to Liverpool". When I asked 100% he said he doesn't know as he was speaking to Hart's manager at the time but they're interested and he's happy to go there.
If we sold to a title rival to improve them I'd feel sick to be honest.

Nice thought but it won't happen unless we get raped again.
How would we fit kdb, coutinho, Silva, sterling, Aguero, fern1, Yaya, Sane, Jesus x 2, nolito and Nacho man into the team.
Maybe
Sane (GK)
Sterling fern1 yaya Navas
Coutinho kdb Silva
Jesus Aguero nacho
Sub
Nolito
