****HULL V CITY Official Match Day Thread****

Postby City64 » Mon Dec 26, 2016 10:10 am

Pep has found another formula the last 2 games and it has worked handsomely and the team is fighting and playing very well again . Today another 3 points is required at hopeless bottom of the league Hull City , lets take our chances and improve our goal difference would be ideal ahead of the "massive" game away to the dippers when with hopefully a full compliment of players fully confident again we can make one huge statement ?

COME ON YOU BLUES !

Anything less than a win will be an embarrassment. Beating Arsenal turned what could've been a crap Xmas into a great one so let's take it from here.

I think you'll find, when we play the Dippers, "massive" is spelt massif - eerrrrrrrrrhhh yer know?

Two wins on the trot, finally getting things right.

Let's not throw it all away in what should be the easiest of the Chrissy program.

Then knock on to Candlepool, dodgy at the back and without the genius of Coutinho pulling strings, couldn't ask for a better opportunity.

Tintin is on BBC 2 now, which is surely a good omen. Kevin will score three today against these troglodytes!

Countinho returned to full training last week. Wouldn't be surprised to see him back at the weekend.

We've been very shaky at the back for a little while, but the last two games should give us grounds for being a tad more optimistic for the rest of the season.

Sometimes, from shaky beginnings, great things can emerge as confidence grows.

A good win this afternoon/evening with, hopefully, a clean sheet would set us up in a better frame of mind for the Liverpuddle encounter so, come on City; let's play with freedom, verve and imagination today and get the Chelsea and Dipper brigades looking nervously over their shoulders.

Klopp said in his presser on Friday that he was still absent from training with the squad.

Just win. Any old how, any old way. Preferably comfortably with a clean sheet but I'd take the three points however they come.

Amen to that, once again from me, NB.

An impressive win would be absolutely wonderful but, at the end of the day, just getting the three points is vital.

Has to be a win. Hoping for a clean sheet but I'm not as worried about that as long as we improve our GD +2 or +3.

No Sane today. Would have preferred Kolarov to Stones but happy enough with the rest.

Good lineup but might have liked to see Sane get another start, but hard to see dropping Nolito again after he has been one of our most consistent players.

Good to see Stones back and Silva in the middle is nice to see as well, behind KDB.

Come On City!!!

Not been good enough as a starter mate.

He's been a bit of a disappointment this season if you ask me. Could see him being loaned out next season if things don't change.

No fucking clue, when he plays, no matter how short a time on the pitch, he tends to score, well maybe not so much recently, but with more game time, more actual play...
I really believe in him, wonder why Pep doesn't?
