End Of The Challenge?

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Seconded, Beef.
It's DEFINITELY nobler in the mind to take arms against a sea of troubles , and by opposing end them.
Don't walke away. Don't lie down - nil capitulum ad illegitimi ; the club also, must start doing it's part
My suggestion , next time time that crooked twat Taylor shows up at on of our games , is a non-stop, continuous chant of "The ref supports United" all game long. No matter how intent he is , it'll f* with his head . . .

We have bent over and taken it too frigging long.
It's time for Pep to stand up at at a press conference and call a bent twat a bent frigging twat ! Every time.
Would Cloughie stand for crap like that ? Would Feralson ? Would Keegan ? No frigging way ! Fine us ? Let 'em , but they won't silence us.

If this bunch need motivation then Pep needs to tell the f*ers they're playing against 12 or 13 men every flaming game !
All season, every season, but we can still do it if you f*ers have got the bottle. Never mind pretty pretty tiki-taka , watch f*in "Spartacus" if you need clarification.

No more Mr. nice guy - call out the corrupt pigs for what they are . Enough silence . This club needs a gob on it.

As it stands we are 10 behind Chelsea with an away game Boxing Day and the dippers New Years Eve. The way we are playing, if we still think we are in it now, come January 1st we could be 14/16 points behind and that is game over.

We'd be on 36 only for the referee v chelsea which would put us level with our highest ever points tally after 16 games.

Yet the whingers say we are shite and the players don't care.

Let us not despair.

Looking ahead, it's vital we go into the new year with some momentum. Historically, we've done well over this period. This analyses - http://www.thestatszone.com/articles/pr ... stmas-form - shows that we have picked more points than anyone at Christmas (in the last 10 years), although we have played a game more than Arsenal, who're just a point behind. Still, reason to be optimistic, no?

That NYE tie with Liverpool is a whopper!

I for one sincerely doubt we will win the PL this season. Chelsea are looking good for it now. I'd be more concerned with staying in front of the swamp dwellers

The way we play against the top sides we will be lucky to get 4th.

Pep is a stubborn cunt who doesn't seem to learn.

The SERBIAN wanker should never start for us ever again.

Well that is definitely one of our problems. Kolarov has gone from average to shocking.

I agree on Kolarov being Shite and shouldn't be at the club but surely he has been the better of the two left backs this season? Shocking as that is to say. we have let the two young full backs go off on loan and the 4 we have are not good enough to start for a top side. If new players not lined up I fear we ain't gonna get top 4. Spurs will be level on points and we down to 5th on goal difference by tomorrow evening 3 points ahead of the scum. Big changes needed quickly. Will be lucky to finish withing 15 points of Chelsea way it's going.

There never was a challenge. We simply are not good enough and not as good as we were. The recruitment over the last couple of years has been terrible. I'm ok with being patient because the players cannot help not being good enough, but the recruitment will not get any better until there are changes. It's ok being patient too if the football is good, but it's been bloody awful to watch this season.

If Araenal and Tottenham win their games in hand we are officially out of top4. Our real challenge this year is making it to Champion's League.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

imo nothing changed today. the title challenge was over after the Chelsea loss.

the most realistic goal for the league is battling for 3rd and automatic CL qualification.

I think we've lost all our games there is to lose. We'd need to win every game from here in to be champs.
