This. I am shocked he benched Bravo. Interesting that Fern starts on the bench but Pep mustve liked the all out attack vs Spurs

Interesting.

Let's see if we're up to the task of converting a few chances.

Just hope pep has made that call as a tactic and not through media pressure etc.

Big Willy, and some crazy good attacking options. Sane, Sterling, and Jesus look to be the future. And Kev, Silva, and Yaya behind them... oh man!

Phew; no Bravo - that's almost an earth-shattering development; what a relief.

It'll be interesting to see how the defence performs tonight with Caballero behind them.

Moreover, we've got the front three I was hoping for so, if we don't score tonight, it'll be very disappointing.

Three points are a mandatory requirement from this game so, come on City, let's blow them away.

That is a very ballsy line up. Would have preferred Kompany to assure that defence.

That has to be the best 18 in the league.

Tis interesting he has gone this way again. Great decision re Willy ( i hope it's proven tonight as well) but I am surprised at the center half pairing. Pep said he left Stones out as he wanted his best headers playing v Benteke. i.e Vinnie Now against Carroll he doesn't play him but brings Stones back.

And Yaya again as the pivot in midfield. It worked well against Spurs as the whole team were up and at it so let's just hope for the same. No doubt as long as we play like we can and take enough of the chances and we should win but that does assume we are not a joke defensively. WHU are confident at the moment so cannot be taken lightly at all.

Who would you have chosen to play alongside Kompany WW ??

Stones or Otamendi, or would you have preferred Kolarov again ??

If that happens no one can EVER question the integrity of referees as the bias will be too obvious

I really like this line up, but I'm dreading a Caballero clanger or two. It's inevitable. We're City after all.

Games/situations like this makes no difference to his future*. Sergio IS better player than he is and from the little I've seen I'd argue Gabriel is ahead of him too.

*but when Sergio got the ban and he hardly got a chance is what he can point out to IF he wants. He does seem like a bloje who has his feet on the ground though so hopefully we will not be as hasty in his decisions as fans lol

If he goes I will not blame him but he is still VERY young who still needs to improve a Lot to be regular starter for us
