Leicester's defeat against Burnley makes for interesting developments.

There are two other teams (Swansea and Middlesbrough) along with them on 21 points, only 2 points above Palace who are third from the bottom.

Given the way they've slowly drifted towards the bottom regions of the PL, they really are in danger of being sucked into the relegation zone. In theory, you'd think they should be "too good to go down" but with Swansea, Middlesbrough and Palace all picking up points last night, I wonder if they've got the heart for a 'drop-zone' dogfight ??

Surely, at the end of the day, they can't go down, can they ??

They will go down in the next three years. Whether there are three worse sides than them this time round remains to be seen. The too good to go down theory is just that. A theory. Because in practice when you continually lose games it means you aren't good enough.

I hope they stay up this season myself

Funny old game, innit.

Could not have been a better mid-week for City :)

Top six all dropped points.

Well all except for one team. Wonder how they'll spin that.

Hull missed two one on ones last five. One of them the guy ran free from the halfway line. They should have won that.

Rather tasty set of results midweek. Follow it up on Sunday and we will see a few twitchy bottoms in London.

The Scum committed 20 fouls and received one yellow.

Hull committed 16 fouls and received four yellows.

Interesting.
