Doesn't matter anymore. The top 4 European will now all get four clubs into the group stages. And we are miles ahead of France who are in fifth.
Since when?
Read it only this week. Starts next year. So there are no qualifying games if you finish fourth
The Old G14 forcing their will on UEFA, also adding the historical bollox to take the lion's share of the money. The only thing they didn't get through was 'By invitation' for the Scum etc. Absolutely disgusting but only expected.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

Arsenal were shite. Ozil doesn't give a toss. Sanchez should go.

A lot of moaning going on in that Arsenal team tonight. All blaming each other.
Sanchez hasn't looked happy for a long time.
I'd fancy him in our setup.
Didi Hamman called them; like a bunch of sulking kids.
Wenger on his last legs I reckon.
Has to get top four or he's gone.

At least arsenal are still in the race for champions of north London.
Couple of posts re Sanchez being a good fit with us. I think he's a cracking player, but wasn't it pep who had him at barca and let him go?

We would be battered by the press if we had dominated the game and lost to a last minute offside goal, handled in after the goalkeeper was elbowed in the face. After being reduced to nine men after two highly contentious red cards. And having three perfectly good goals disallowed

I'm with you on this PD.
Agent Whinger is doing a fine job. With the right manager in his place, plus all the spare cash they supposedly have, they could be a real force to be reckoned with.
No, Whinger deserves to be given more time............

It depends on what the Arsenal board really wants. They seem satisfied to finish 4th every year with Arsene bringing the cash in. Read a while back that he brought in the club around 1 bil. in 20 years of his regime. Money that came from prizes and transfers.
I am still curious if he will actually go.

Just thinking about PSG's performance from last night.
I wonder if their improving Champions League form at the moment has anything to do with getting rid of Ibrahimovitch ?? Perhaps getting rid of an overblown ego like his has been good for the overall team ethic. Moreover, Di Maria now looks unrecognisable from the plodder who plied his trade at the Swamp last season.
All in all though, to my mind it's a bit of a mystery how PSG only finished second to Arsenic Whinger's gang, in their Group A qualifying games ??

Pep signed him for Barca in 2011, beating us to him, but then resigned the following summer. We had him in our sights again when he was leaving in 2014 but the FFP sanction put paid to that. I'd love him at City.

The owners are, first and foremost, business people and it could well be that the balance sheet is more important to them, at the end of the day, than necessarily winning silverware, so you could well be right in your assumptions PP.
Whilst ever this cosy financial state continues, to their minds it might seem to be madness to let Whinger go.
Moreover, with all this surfeit of cash apparently swilling around in their coffers, if they were true footballing people, they might consider the fans and reduce the overblown prices of their season tickets, which are one of the highest in the division.

Didn't the cunt choose them over us? He can fuck off, we have no need for him with our forward line. Let's focus on a destroyer in midfield and some full backs.

He didn't choose them over us, we weren't in the running.
A quote from Pellegrini from December:
"He was a major player we wanted to take to City.
"We could not take him before he signed for Arsenal, it was because the club was punished for Financial Fair Play"

Correct.
UEFA doing their bit again.
However, that was when arsenal went for him. I believe the other poster was referring to when he chose barca over us.
We ended up with aguero instead iirc?

Sanchez is a top top player. He would fit in very well at city. Though suspect someone would have to make way for him.
