Now we will see if the FA really are impartial. Two players should be getting banned but one plays for the famous....interesting few days for the FA.

All the media I've heard so far are pushing for it.
Must have been very obvious so.

there has to be a ban. end of.
I feel sad that I have to be glad that there was a scouser like carra in the studio to call that out as if they had only had former rags there they wouldve just brushed this aside

He should get more than Sergio. Serg grazed Reid's chest. Big nose absolutely smashed the kids face.

Sorry. Don't agree. It's the intent. If Sergio had landed his elbow cleanly it would have been far worse.

Haha brilliant. You'd rather take a punch off someone than someone just swing for you and miss. Because it's the same isn't it?

Nope. It's the result of the action that matters you can't really prove the intent or its outcome whereas if the elbow lands and you almost knock someone out surely that is far worse

I've heard talk of 4 or 5 match bans but can't understand why, it can only be judged by the laws of the game which would mean a 3 match bans unless they've been banned before?

Did any rag player had a retrospective ban in the last few years?
I fail to remember any and there were some moments.

Seems Wiggy seen exactly what happened, when many say he couldn't have as he was facing the other way.

It was actually his wig, toupé, perruque or whatever you want to call it, which slipped round on the top of his head until it was back to front, making it seem as though he was looking one way, when he was facing the other.
Just an optical illusion.

Ha ha ha, I do remember a cartoon/Muppet moment where a wig had eyes of its own. That's just brought back one of those silly memories.

Wonder who came up with that. Was it Zlatan himself, Shrek perhaps, because he is stupid enough to fall for it, Mourinho maybe, Woodward? You can imagine them after the game saying "shit, we are bang to rights here, how can we get out of it?" And some cretin comes up with that excuse.
I'd give him an extra game ban for taking the piss

In real life? No. But in sport, if you try to hurt someone with one swing of your elbow, as in these instances, and one is just crap or fortunately off with their aim I don't think that should mean both should be treated differently.
Now, if we're not talking about multiple actions of violence (swing of elbow followed by a kick and a stamp, for instance) then that would be a different story.
We are talking about one swing of the elbow by either player. Sergio just happened to have missed.
