I hope Arsenal don't get battered tonight as perversely it might galvanise them in the PL. They will of course go out but a lame score draw would be in order. The real action is in Naples and that's where I'll be watching.

What an atmosphere on San Paolo of Napoli. 1-0 for the italians.
Madrid really looks like they are in the pit of hell. Scary to play there.

Well that was a penalty.
Would've made the score interesting.

Goal came from Hummels side, he can't live with Theo at the moment.

Thanks Slim.
I used to like Hummels and, at one point, I wouldn't have minded him at City.
However, he must be approaching 30 by now, so that's nothing more than a boring footnote to players past.

I think Boateng is on a one match suspension as well, so not their 1st choice back 4.
Highly entertaining game though. Lewandowski had a golden opportunity that I still can't believe he missed.

Hope it's as entertaining for you as the Arse game is for me. Bayern looking less than composed.

Wouldn't fancy a trip there next round if we both got through I've got to say

It's a shame we allowed ourselves to get bludgeoned in the first leg, but it's the same old story. First leg asleep, second leg lively but too little too late.
The only thing is taking the flak from rags, dippers (I'm getting used to your language now, chaps
) and the chavs who aren't even in it. Hard to stomach

Don't blame you. I hear the stadium is imminent danger of collapse, like most constructions in that region built with the 'help' of the Camorra.

How do you see the second half going IW; are you going to be able to pull any further goals back ??

I hate blaming refs but this is silly. When we play in Europe. When you play in Europe. Always happens. The refs are unbelievably biased. The only saving grace is that European refs aren't afraid of booking/sending off Rooney, too.
Be hopeful you avoid bayern. Not because you can't beat them, because you can. The way their players bleat and surround and essentially coerce the ref into making a decision is, frankly, cheating
