Pogba

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Pogba

Postby Lev Bronstein » Wed Mar 15, 2017 5:05 pm

Watching him on Monday (not in that way), I asked myself the question, "Is he useless because he's useless, or is it that the Special One doesn't know how to use him?". I accept that he isn't good enough to carry/lift a team, but, surely he's better than that!

Would Pep get more out of him?

He did not impress in the Euros either. Totally over-rated.

Pep could not get more out of Pogba, because there is no more in Pogba.

Looked class against us for Juve, but admittedly that's the only time I've really been impressed so far. I'm sure he must be better than what he's shown so far though, Maureen tactics probably don't help. Long may it continue though, I'm finding it hilarious

He isn't and never was a defensive midfielder. He'd be much better in a team where he would have more freedom to roam. I don't think he would fit our set-up, but i think he'd look better at Chelsea, Arsenal, or Everton.

Sky put up figures showing he's 46th and 47th out of 47 in a few midfielder stats like ground covered and number of sprints.

That's seriously shit

The media will never call him out.

He is worth 40-50 mil, the rest went to Raiola, who one of the biggest snakes in football. Read a few months ago that he is demanding AC Milan to pay 10 mil/season to Donnarumma or he will take him to Juventus or Madrid.

We were interested in him, no doubt, but we understood how much he really cost and that is nowhere near as much we paid for TIn Tin.

Before he came I thought Christ that's a lot of money for a player who NEVER turns up in a big game. But now he doesn't turn up in the likkle games either. That's either down to the pace of the game here, his manager or his attitude to not being allowed the freedom he needs in the games. I'd have to go for his attitude and it's not going to get any better. A shocking buy.

A very big bullet dodged.

I for one was hoping we'd sign him. So glad we didn't.
