last time i checked Pep was sitting in the dugout and 11 internationals were on the pitch. they should be able to do better than they have.

Monaco have 51% possession and 6 shots compared to our 0. i dont know our passing accuracy but im sure it's shit.

I know our defence get the blame, but Sane Sterling Kev and it has to be said, Silva have been abysmal.
They don't look like they know what to do when they do get possession.
There's no support and definitely not enough work rate.
Pep needs to put a rocket up them.

I'd take Kev off and get Yaya up behind Aguero. Give them something to think about.

Dare I say it this could turn in to a worse season than last under pellegrini. At times defensively we look awful and yet we have 6 clean sheets in last 6 away games prior to this. Maybe it says something about the quality or lack of in the pl.

Hard to work out what that was all about. As bad a half as we have seen this season and it can't all be down to missing Yaya. No way I would have left him out with the way he can hold the ball and control games and Kevin has been lost!

It's as if we are overawed by the occasion. We are not pressing , movement off the ball is poor, passing is crap, controlling the ball is crap. Roll on the 2nd half when we wake up.

I cannot believe what I just watched.

The level of sane sterling brown silva and fernandinho is incomprehensible.

They have been shit on a whole new level to anything this season. Absolutely shitting themselves.

Awful first half. But we're seen this type of performance so often this season it's no longer surprising.

Every player is having a nightmare. Would probably take KDB off and bring Yaya on. We don't have many other options aside from that.

This is where Guardiola needs to show his value. His half time speech will be huge in the outcome of this game. He needs to solve what he fucked up in 45 minutes.

We need to score not once, but twice, because we are going to conceide another one for certain.

I don't think it's that. We lack quality in the back 5. There are obvious issues in the centre of the park too. We don't lack bottle but we do lack the quality to achieve at this level, just as we lack the quality to put a title challenge in. A big overhaul is needed and we will need to be patient.

I wonder if he really meant that we'd all out attack based on that shit? Maybe it was all bollox and we did try and back off and sit off them a bit and it's massively backfired.

Here's hoping there's some explanation as that was utter shite.

A wake up call of how far we are away from being a top quality side. Sagna and Clichy no where near good enough for a squad hoping to compete and Fernandinho should be a utility player at best not the lynchpin in such an important game.

Silva trying hard but nothing happening around him and Sergio is really being isolated and man marked.

Most of the players look zapped of energy and really points to nerves, DeBruyne especially. Shows he will never be a leader in a team but put enough in with him and he can show his quality.

Think we can still do it but need yaya on for fern and zab on for sagna (before he is sent of) and need sane and sterling to get involved. Hopefully Monaco will tire

can't blame the defense so far when Aguero and Silva were at fault for the 2 goals.

Kevin needs to be hooked at the half for Yaya.
