I am still to be convinced “Tiki Taka” brand of football has any future in the English Premier League. There are many variables for me to be convinced it will be successful outside of warmer sunny climates of Southern Europe Spain/Brazil. You simply get more time on the Ball in hot countries, because Football is more physically demanding on the human body, players stand off. Players can’t cover the same ground per-game that players can in colder England. You saw last night how high flying Sevilla were put out by a very ordinary Leicester side struggling in Premier League. No coincidence that very same ordinary Leicester side beat us easily, using exactly the same tactics. Guardiola appears not to know how to counter average high tempo pressing teams. We play one way regardless of opposition.
I assume the thinking is. We keep playing possession based football; we will create more chances, we win the game.
The thinking makes sense if you are in a 2 team Spanish league, and you are managing one of those said 2 Teams. Whilst having at your disposal Messi,Iniesta,Xavi etc. The opposition simply turning up each week, pulling down their Pants for the usual dry bumming. I am not trying to discredit Guardiola achievements. But a 15 year old playing FIFA could pick a winning Barcelona side most weeks. Same with the Bayern Munich side.
Another thing that has perplexed me. Mancini last season he was deliberately undermined by the Spafia, was the point where the Spaniards knew Guardiola was coming to us after a short spell at Bayern Munich. In reality they have already had 4 seasons including this one to sign the players we already badly needed for Guardiola system. Address glaring inadequacies in the squad.
Guardiola will get another season regardless what any of us think. In reality we now have no choice to but wait it out and see if “TikkiTakka” see us become Champions in England, and Europe. Another key fundamental to it success, it will need us Cherry picking the best players in the World with the Ball at their feet. Having more pulling power than Real Madrid,Barcelona,Bayern Munch.I personally think it is unrealistic. Given the DOF has already signed too much shit to list, I have confidence not.
We had an identity under Mancini, we had a good solid defence, which was key to our success.
I personally think the project will just as liely end in tears. I hope to God Guardiloa proves me wrong next season, and we take the League/Europe by storm with our incompetent DOF suddenly becoming ultra competent at recruitment policy.

May i simply ask why is it a problem now ?
Why on earth did everyone think it would be better ?
