Bony on BBC sport saying how he is frustrated at the lack of playing time at Stoke. But shockingly, for us, he turned down a move to China. Hope this isn't true

We are linked with Ben Gibson from Boro.
Anyone watched him? Is he any good?

he's left footed for a start, Boro are good defensively and it may be be down in large part to him - there are a few other reasonable players there including our very own Adam Clayton. Chambers and Bernardo are no great shakes but Ayala has presence and George Friend is a useful left back.

He's playing centre-back but can also play left back and although he's not yet 25, he's the captain of the side.
As JC has stated, 'Boro are good defensively and they never seem to fall apart and get thrashed by a cricket score. If you look at their results in the League this season, I think they've not conceded more than three goals in a game and have only done that on a couple of occasions (one of these was at home to Liverpool 0-3 and the other was away to Everton 1-3) plus, they try to press and win the ball back higher up the pitch, which will appeal to Pep.
He just seems a decent, solid defender rather than an out and out ball playing centre back which, nonetheless, might well suit us better than the latter type, given our current defensive concerns.
Could be a good buy, always depending on the price.

Well he is also the chairman's nephew!
What did our cognoscenti think of his efforts today? I was impressed by a couple of last ditch clearances.

No contract offer for Yaya yet. Given he is allowed to talk to other clubs now, I find it hard to believe Seluk hasn't got something sorted for him. It will be a day when he leaves....I might even cry a bit.

I will definitely shed a tear if he leaves and stays in the Prem . Especially if he follows his brother down

A United fan in work (won't call him a rag. He's a nice bloke and doesn't act raggish) reckons Griezman is theirs if they secure CL spot and also thinks they're in with a shout for Sanchez.
Same every year huh?
I'm still waiting for Pogba to turn up there.

not the first time he's been linked so very probably sonething in it, and he was the la liga defender of the year prior to joining us, so clearly more suited to the spanish league

Itd be one of the best bits of business we could do this summer if we got rid. The guys a liability, for a centre half i have no idea what hes good at, slow as shit, not great in the air, easily bullied, shit tackler, shit passer of the ball, whats he bringing to the table?
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
