Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Winning the FA Cup all day long.
We don't support a club year after year to finish in a certain league position apart from finishing first.
We don't remember 2011 because it was the first time we'd qualified for the Champions League. We remember it because Yaya scored against Stoke and Kompany lifted the cup.
Similarly, no one gives a shit now that Spurs beat us to 4th in 2010. It seemed like a big deal at the time but in the grand scheme of things it wasn't.
Do you think Wigan fans gave a shit that they were relegated in 2013? Of course not. Winning the FA Cup will live with them forever.
It's not even a close contest. Anyone who prefers to finish 4th over winning a trophy is talking nonsense.

This.
Trophy all day long.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

You guys who would go for a CUP and no CL are on wacky backy if you think it beats getting in the CL.
Whether we like it or not , the CL is everything in today's world of football and not being in it is a considered a fuckign disaster...by the owners , by world wide fans , by TOP players that want a transfer to a team in the prem....DISASTER.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Yeh, yeah, yeah.... I'm aware of the financial consequences of missing out on CL football and how it would affect our chances of attracting top talent. But that's part of the reason why I don't like the competition. It's not really CHAMPION's league now is it? People who have been members long enough know that I long for old UEFA competitions of European Cup, Cup Winners Cup and UEFA Cup.
Generally though, winning comes before anything for me. Especially as we are talking about title as prestigious as FA Cup.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

FA Cup all day long.
Not hopeful of either , get past the Arse and we will face Spuds who are the best team in the country.
Might just scrape top four.
The team is a mess but hopefully this will be sorted in the Summer.

We'll beat Thd Spuds at Wembley to avenge the class of '81.
That's if we get past The Arse.

This is also a question both Arsenal and the rags, (albeit the League Cup), could ask themselves.

Peggy reckons he'd rather win the Thursday Cup than finish in the top 4.

FA Cup every day for me!
Football is about winning trophies! The CL is not all it's cracked up to be nowadays.

I'm comfortable that we'll finish third.
The cup will take a bit more work. I'd love it.

Tough question, hard to answer.
A trophy is what football is about and as stated here, will be remembered in 50 years time.
But in today's game getting into that top 4 bracket brings such huge rewards, finance, prestige. Although I respect and agree with (to a degree) fans frustration with and scorn for UEFA's cup, it would feel like a massive failure not getting into top 4.
FA cup trophy, just about.
