Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

After the first goal went in you could see by his reaction that he blamed himself(incorrectly) just because of his high standards. He didn't allow it to affect him mentally though and it was good to see him going in strong on the 50/50 challenges considering he must know what is at stake if he gets injured again. All in all a great performance and should now be an automatic choice for every game till the end of the season. He will go from strength to strength given the chance.

I'd add Delph's performance to that. I thought he did well.
Vinny Kompany, as long as his legs will carry him through matches, will always be a class act.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

Should he start again on Saturday? After so long out do we play him again or give him a break till following week and hope we can keep him fit till end of the season.

Most of us have been screaming for a settled back four all season, me included. I know what I'd be doing.

Cut VK and he will bleed blue.He even married a Manchester lass
That slight deflection last night hurt him, not that he could do fuck all about it.
No way should we let VK go, a VK at 50% could still do a very good job for City.
VK only problem is not listening to his body, Playing for us, and then jetting off to play for Belgium. VK is a player who gives 100% when on the pitch. We need to handle him much better, play him in the bigger Games where we need a more commanding presence. He needs to rest up more often
If he goes at the end of this season to one of the giants, he will still do a job, we should never let this happen. I would be upset to lose him, considering some of the shit we have in our side. He has been unlucky with injuries. All VK needs is better management, he has another good couple of years left in him yet.

Vinny is back and at his sublime best . Seems Pep has been holding him back for a while with the FA cup semi final and derby fixture in mind ?

A fit Kompany playing 90 minutes in both games and we are through to the final and have clear daylight from the rags.
Unless the referee is wearing a red vest under his top

Whilst, back at home NB, he'll have a Manure duvet and pillows, there'll be a Manure poster on the bedroom walls, photographs of all the 'geat' (Uuugghh) Scum teams of yesteryear and framed and autographed pictures of FergusScum liberally sprinkled throughout his living room.
All in all. the 'perfect' Sky/PIGMOB forelock tugging employee.

In 2017? Yes.
https://www.whoscored.com/Players/97752 ... Paul-PogbaPogba scored against Hull in the league cup in January.
He has scored zero goals in the PL in 2017.
His last Prem goal was against Boro on 31 December, 2016.

We sure about this?
He has transformed our defence and may save us.
We have missed him too much.
If he stays fit, wonder what Pep will do this summer.
