Navas, frustrating as always

Working hard as always and has been involved in a number of attacking moves already. I don't get why so many people have a problem with him - he's not a striker and he's not in the squad to score goals.

I love his work rate, but his final delivery either doesn't beat the first man, he doesn't look up or he takes an extra touch and then the opening has gone

I've wondered, several times on here, if Navas could re-invent himself as a right back and provide us with a short term solution in that position.

I'm sure there's a proper footballer in there but, overall, I seem to have been somewhat optimistic in this idea.

A bit sad really as he does work hard on the right.

Except that it wasn't - Sane kicks the ball away from Forster's hand and Forster makes contact with Sane, so clear penalty - the angle you're talking about was an optical illusion (camera behind the goal) - the side on shot shows it more clearly.
