He has transformed our defence and may save us.
We have missed him too much.
If he stays fit, wonder what Pep will do this summer.
obviously thats the key but recent signs are encouraging--90, 120, 90 minutes.
but personally im not expecting anything. im just waiting for the next long-term injury.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Hasn't Pep already said if he is fit and shows it through to the end of the season he is part of his plans? He has been so so good since coming back this time.

When asked if Vinny featured in his plans next season I think Pep said 'he's got a contract' - which seemed a little brusque at the time

He did say that. I thought it seemed a bit cold but it was off the cuff. Truth is....it's true. Two years left so he can't just be moved on. I hope he stays forever. I'm proud he's our captain.

I think Pep not only doesn't have any "attachment to our club legends" he doesn't seem to have any emotional attachment to the club at all yet, he would prefer to bring in his own men. I get the impression from things Pep has said like "...he has a contract" he would like to get VK, and others, off the wage bill. Pep wants to create his own history with the club. Maybe with a good run VK can win Pep round.

In the few matches he has played since coming back Vinnie has shown that he is amongst the best center backs around. Of course there is no guarantee he can stay fit through a season or even close to that but is it right to spend £50M on say one of the Juve defenders when Vinnie is as good or better.
Pep will have seen what we saw. Madness not to keep him. Is it madness to think he can be relied on? Tough decision.

Yep, absolutely bonkers, we've not had a settled defence for 4 years now because of his injuries. We can't go into another season relying on him.

VK is going nowhere. Guardiola will be gone before VK,I am not kidding either, there will be rioting outside the main entrance if Guardiola tried to get rid of him.
All VK needs to do now is listen to his body, and better management, Cherry pick the games he plays in. He will good for another 3,4, seasons if managed properly.
When he does hang up his Boots, I want him to become an Ambassador for us, whilst earning his Badges. I hope one day he will be our manager. He even has a Manc accent after marrying a Manc wife.Love the guy to bits.

Got a knock - doubt for WCQ against Greece
they say it's not a muscle injury - let's just hope that's right

He should have retired from international football 2 years ago. And if he wants to have club career he'll do it soon.

He won't retire until after the 2018 WC. After that then I think he will

After missing last years Euros Vincent wants a last hurrah at the WC.
He is Capitano of the best Belgium team in centuries,it's a very understandable emotion.
He needs to handle himself very carefully though cos there may not be a way back if he gets another bad muscle injury.
Go quietly Vincent, and carry a big stick !!

Let's wait and see what the severity is before rolling out the guillotine, for all we know he may just be taking a precaution he wouldn't have before.

True - but looking back on his history, I cannot recall one incidence of him not playing as a precaution and he was fine for the next game...he was always fucked.
Not optimistic , thats for sure.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"
